A cassette including a length from a first end of the cassette to a second end of the cassette, and a width from a first side of the cassette to a second side of the cassette. The cassette may include a detent arranged in the first side of the cassette or arranged in the second side of the cassette. The cassette may be arrangeable in a tray such that the at least one detent is engageable with another detent arranged in a wall of the tray. The cassette may include a groove arranged in a bottom surface of the cassette. The cassette may be arrangeable in a tray such that a protrusion of the tray is engageable with the groove of the cassette.

Fiber cassette

A cassette including a first end having a first geometry symmetrical, about at least one axis, to a second geometry of a second end. A first connector fastening station arranged in the first end of the cassette and including a first plurality of receptacles, each of the first plurality of receptacles configured to fasten at least one of a first connector, a first adapter, a first plug, or a first strain relief unit. A second connector fastening station arranged in the second end of the cassette and including a second plurality of receptacles, each of the second plurality of receptacles configured to fasten at least one of a second connector, a second adapter, a second plug, or a second strain relief unit. The first plurality of receptacles of the first connector fastening station are symmetrical, about the at least one axis, to the second plurality of receptacles of the second connector fastening station.

Configurable fiber cassette

A tray may be arrangeable in a chassis that is slideably displaceable from a stowed position to a first use position or to a second use position. A flexible member may be coupled to a tray and provide for maintaining a bend radius of optical fibers received by the flexible member. The flexible member may include anti-jamming features to prevent links of the flexible member from jamming. A handle may be coupled to the tray and may be lockingly engageable with the flexible member. A faceplate may be couplable to a first end of the tray or to a second end of the tray, the faceplate to provide a respective cable management capability for a plurality of fibers received by the tray. The first end of the tray may have a first geometry symmetrical, about at least one axis, to a second geometry of the second end of the tray.

Fiber blocking apparatuses couple to an outside fiber optic cable and include a damping unit that prevents damaging (e.g., micro-fracturing) optical fibers received from the outside fiber optic cable and blocks a gelatinous element from advancing out of the outside fiber optic cable. The fiber blocking apparatuses include a view port providing visibility of a routing of the optical fibers in the fiber blocking apparatuses.

Fiber blocking kits

A plurality of patch trays displaceably received in a chassis received in a left side or right side of an access side of a frame, and a splice tray removeably received in the access side of the frame. The splice tray having a capacity to receive at least about 288 fiber terminations and the plurality of patch trays displaceably received in the chassis having a capacity to collectively receive the at least about 288 fiber terminations from the splice tray. A patch tray including a row of pop-up adapter packs to collectively receive a respective portion of the at least about 288 fiber terminations received by the patch tray. The row of pop-up adapter packs arranged in the patch tray substantially in a left side or right side of the patch tray to offset the row of pop-up adapter packs to provide more space for routing the respective portion of the 288 fiber terminations in the patch tray.

A total front access double sided frame includes a first access side opposite a second access side, and fiber blocks received in the first and second access sides. The fiber blocks may include splice modules and patch modules and have capacity to receive about 6,900 fiber terminations.

Ultra-high density frames

A splice tray is removeably received in a chassis received in an access side of a frame. In some examples, the splice tray can have a capacity to receive at least about 288 fiber terminations. The frame having a first fiber management bay arranged at a middle of a back of the access side of the frame, a fiber passageway is arranged between a back of the chassis and the back of the access side of the frame, and a second fiber management bay is be arranged adjacent to the left side or right side of the frame proximate to the splice tray. A displaceable conduit communicatively coupled to a left side or a right side of the splice tray proximate to the front of the splice tray is protectively housed in the first fiber management bay, the fiber passageway, and the second fiber management bay such that the fiber terminations received by the displaceable conduit have at least a minimum bend radius.
