One embodiment of the present disclosure provides a humeral implant. The humeral implant includes a tray including a body defining a bone facing recess and a liner recess, said bone facing recess including a ring surface and a convex surface, wherein the ring surface has a profile substantially corresponding to a profile of an outer ring of bone in an excision site of a patient; and wherein said convex surface has a profile substantially corresponding to a profile of a concave socket formed in the excision site. The humeral implant also includes a liner including a body defining a load bearing surface and a tray interface surface, said tray interface surface being configured to be at least partially received in said liner recess of said tray such that said implant is coupled to said tray.

Humeral and glenoid articular surface implant systems and methods

This disclosure includes fasteners for coupling an implant to tissue (e.g., soft-tissue and/or bone), fabric-like implants, and assemblies with fasteners pre-loaded with implants. The present implants generally comprise at least one flexible, fibrous layer that is substantially planar in a flattened state. In some embodiments of the present assemblies for delivery of a fastener, the assembly comprises fastener cartridge, a fibrous implant wrapped around a portion of the cartridge, a fastener extending through the implant, and an elongated shield disposed around the implant and the cartridge such that the implant is retained between the cartridge and the shield. Kits comprise a plurality of fasteners pre-loaded with implants. Some of the present kits also include one or more of the present fastener-delivery apparatuses or tools; for example, a plurality of pre-loaded fasteners with a single, reloadable tool; a plurality of tools each pre-loaded with a fastener that is pre-loaded with an implant; and/or a plurality of cartridges each pre-loaded with a fastener that is pre-loaded with an implant, and a common tool for use with the cartridges.

The present disclosure provides an implant system. The implant system includes an anchor configured to be secured to bone within an excision site formed in a patient's glenoid, said anchor including a shank and an enlarged head. The implant system also includes a baseplate including a body comprising: a bone facing surface; an implant facing surface; and a channel configured to extend radially from an entrance in an outer periphery of said body to a central region of said baseplate, said channel configured to receive said enlarged head and a portion of said shank and including an open region formed, at least in part, in said bone facing surface. The implant system also includes an implant including a body defining a load bearing surface and a baseplate recess, said baseplate recess configured to receive at least a portion of said implant facing surface to said baseplate such that said implant is coupled to said baseplate.

A suture system including a suture construct having a first reduction construct configured to be selectively arranged in an expanded state and a reduced state. The first reduction construct includes a first locking limb, a first contractible loop, and a first opposed loop disposed generally opposite to the first contractible loop, wherein reduction of the first opposed loop contracts the first contractible loop from the expanded state into the reduced state and secures the suture construct in the reduced state. The suture construct may also include a second reduction construct. Optionally, the suture system includes a first and a second pusher tube defining a first and a second lumen, respectively, wherein each pusher tubes are advanced over portions of opposed loops, respectively, and wherein distal portions of opposed loops extend beyond the pusher tubes, respectively.

A multicomponent implant system includes a multicomponent implant comprising a base plate and a load plate. The base plate includes a bone facing surface and a base plate interface surface. The load plate includes a load plate interface surface and a load bearing surface, the load bearing surface being substantially parallel to the load plate interface surface and having a contour substantially corresponding to a contour of a removed portion of the articular surface. Both the load plate interface surface and base plate interface surface have a contour substantially corresponding to the contour of the load bearing surface. The load plate is configured to be advanced in an arcuate direction to slidably couple the load plate to the base plate after the base plate has been secured within the first excision site by an anchor.

A bioabsorbable textile for the restoration of the joint function whereas the joint is affected by partial thickness tears, small to medium full-thickness tears, large to massive full-thickness tears, acute and chronic/degenerative tears. The bioabsorbable textile may comprise polymeric yarns interconnected to form a weave or knitted configuration, wherein said bioabsorbable textile provides a combined mechanical and biological augmentation in the target joint tissue. The present disclosure provides systems and methods for repairing a defect on a portion of an articular surface of a human body, particularly of the glenoid. More particularly, the present disclosure provides systems and methods for repairing both a glenoid cavity and a glenoid rim of the glenoid using a single implant.

Glenoid repair system and methods of use thereof

The present disclosure relates to a system and method for repairing an articular surface. A guide pin may be secured to an articular surface of a glenoid, wherein the guide pin defines a working axis and the working axis is positioned at an angle α relative to the articular surface, wherein angle α is less than or equal to 90 degrees. An excision device may be advanced over the guide pin, wherein the excision device includes a cannulated shaft and at least one cutter, wherein the at least one cutter is generally aligned in a single plane. An implant resection system for preparing an implant site to replace a defect in an articular surface of a first bone includes a guide configured to be coupled generally perpendicular to the first bone proximate to the defect. The guide includes a body portion defining a plurality of excision passageways. The excision passageways each define a generally cylindrical core pathway configured to extend generally perpendicular to the first bone which partially overlaps with an adjacent generally cylindrical core pathway. A projection associated with each of the plurality of the generally cylindrical core pathways defines a truncated cylindrical excision site extending through a portion of the articular surface.
