Sprayer apparatus for use with an elongate boom may be configured to spray a liquid onto foliage on a ground surface. The sprayer apparatus may include a spray boom, a spray hood coupled to the spray boom, an extension member coupled to the spray boom, and a mounting apparatus coupled to the extension member. The mounting apparatus may be couplable to the elongate boom to support the spray boom and the spray hood above the ground surface.

Implement apparatus configured to displace ground material is disclosed herein. For example, an implement includes an extension member coupled to a roller apparatus. The roller apparatus includes a cylindrical portion and a plurality of ground displacing elements. The ground displacing elements is configured to extend into a ground surface to disperse ground material when the roller apparatus is engaged with the ground surface as the vehicle traverses the ground surface.

A metering apparatus may be configured to control flow of material from a reservoir to control the amount of material applied, dispensed, and/or spread to a field while a vehicle traverses the field. The metering apparatus may include an auger portion located in an elevator channel to control the flow of material out of a reservoir opening of the reservoir.

An implement may be configured to displace ground material. For example, an implement may include roller apparatus configured to engage a ground surface and form a plurality of reservoirs in the ground surface. The roller apparatus may include a cylindrical portion and a plurality of ground displacing elements, and the plurality of ground displacing elements may form the plurality of reservoirs in the ground surface as the cylindrical portion is rolled over the ground surface.

Spray hood assemblies may be adapted to be moved over undesired foliage so as to temporarily enclose them when liquids (e.g., agricultural chemicals such as herbicide) are sprayed. The spray hood assemblies may assist in ensuring that a high percentage of the sprayed liquids are deposited where they are intended to be sprayed rather than being blown away or onto adjacent desired plants.
