A capacitive touch screen sensoris disclosed. The sensorcomprises an array of drive electrodes, an array of sense electrodesseparated from the array of drive electrodes by a dielectric layer, each sense electrodebeing offset from each drive electrodeto define respective overlapping regionsand first non-overlapping regions, and a plurality of non-electrically connected electrodes, each non-electrically connected electrodebeing arranged to correspond to each first non-overlapping regionand spaced from adjacent driveor sense electrodesby a perimeter gap. The perimeter gapmay have a width of about 100 um or less. A related touch panel and method of fabricating the same are also disclosed.
