The present disclosure provides compositions and products formed therefrom. In particular, the disclosure provides elastomeric latex articles, such as gloves and condoms, that can be prepared utilizing a styrene-polyisoprene-styrene (SIS) latex. The elastomeric articles can exhibit desired tensile properties while being substantially or completely free of undesired components, such as sulfur and zinc oxide, which can be allergens. The disclosure further provides methods of preparing elastomeric latex articles.

Polymer compositions and products formed therewith

The present disclosure provides methods for controlling swelling of a clay when in contact with an aqueous medium. The methods may include contacting clay with a content of an ionic liquid sufficient to modify one or more transport properties of water through the clay. In particular, in some embodiments, the present disclosure provides clay-based animal litter compositions having controlled flow and clump shape, and a related method. The animal litter can include a clay-based liquid absorbing material and at least one ionic liquid.

An animal litter composition having enhanced odor reduction properties, and a related method, are disclosed. The animal litter can include a zeolite-based liquid adsorbing material. The animal litter can also include a nanosilicate odor reducing agent that reduces an odor of litter waste, the animal litter composition having a total nanosilicate odor reducing agent content of about 0.5% by weight to about 13% by weight based on the total weight of the animal litter composition.

An article is provided herein which includes a shear-thinning, non-thixotropic aqueous liquid detergent and a package for the aqueous liquid detergent which is in direct contact with the aqueous liquid detergent, wherein the package is formed from a water-soluble, film-forming material. The aqueous liquid detergent includes at least about 25% by weight of water based on the total weight of the aqueous liquid detergent, a builder comprising potassium carbonate, and a chloride salt, wherein the builder and the chloride salt are present in a combined total amount of about 25% to about 50% percent by weight based on the total weight of the aqueous liquid detergent, and the builder and the chloride salt are present in a weight ratio of about 99:1 to about 75:25. Methods of preparing the aqueous liquid detergent and the article are also provided herein.

The present disclosure provides compositions and methods useful in the deactivation of allergens. The compositions can comprise a peroxide and can particularly be at a relatively low pH (e.g., less than 5). The compositions exhibit efficacy for deactivation of a wide variety of allergens and are suitable for application to one or more types of surfaces to provide for deactivation of at least a portion of allergens present on the surface.

More specifically, the present invention relates to an absorbent composition comprising a liquid absorbing material, at least one alkaline earth metal peroxide, and an acidic material. The acid maintains a high hydrogen peroxide release profile under acidic conditions, such that the composition is found surprisingly effective in mitigating fecal odor.
