Techniques for generating an item transmission portal are described herein. First information for a plurality of carriers may be maintained which includes a capacity for each carrier. Historical capacity requirements for geographic locations may be maintained. For each geographic location a forecast of future capacity requirements, for each week of a plurality of weeks, may be generated based on the historical capacity requirements. A plurality of documents may be generated for each geographic location based on the forecast and the first information. A value may be determined for each document based on a time and capacity commitment for each document, the historical capacity requirements, and the forecast. A user interface may be generated that includes the plurality of documents and corresponding determined values. The user interface may be updated to reflect acceptance of a specific document by a carrier in response to input received via the user interface.

Item transmission portal

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and computer-readable media related to preserving customer data privacy for merchant orders. A purchase request may be received from a user device. The purchase request may be processed to identify user data, merchant data, and merchandise data. A privacy identifier associated with the purchase request may be generated. An intermediate processing center to receive requested merchandise may be determined based at least in part on the purchase request. Intermediate processing center data may be associated with the privacy identifier. The purchase request may be modified by removing at least a portion of the user data, and adding the privacy identifier. The modified purchase request may be transmitted to a merchant based at least in part on the merchant data.

Preserving customer data privacy for merchant orders

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and computer-readable media related to competitive merchandise fulfillment delivery speed monitoring. Competitor merchants for a geographic region may be identified. Data for merchandise from sources associated with the competitor merchants may be obtained. A set of policies may be retrieved. The obtained data may be analyzed based at least in part on the policies to identify merchandise and an associated delivery speed available via the one or more competitor merchants. One or more suggested inventory management actions affecting the identified merchandise available via an online retailer may be generated based at least in part on the analyzed data. Implementation of at least one of the suggested inventory management actions may be facilitated. A website of the online retailer may be updated for the identified merchandise based at least in part on the implementation of the at least one of the one or more suggested inventory management actions.

Competitive merchandise fulfillment delivery speed monitoring

Disclosed are various embodiments for generating an interface for communication of at least one supply chain associated with an order that comprises forecast completion times for components of the at least one supply chain. The interface includes nodes that are associated with components of the at least one supply chain. The nodes within the interface are linked, wherein each link connects two of the nodes and indicates a relationship between the corresponding components of the at least one supply chain. The nodes and the links are arranged into a rooted tree within the interface, wherein the rooted tree represents the organization of the components of the at least one supply chain.

Forecasting supply chain components

Systems and methods may be provided for determining, assigning and directing containers for transshipment between facilities without using an item-level sortation process and moving containers from a receiving area of a facility to an outbound dock without placing the items into inventory. A facility may or may not have item-level sortation processing. Data indicating received items is received. A determination is made for which of the received containers are for transshipment from the materials handling facility based on multiple factors. Containers in receiving that are determined for transshipment may be directed from receive to outbound docks without placing the items into inventory and without using an item-level sortation process. Pallets may be transshipped without placing the items into inventory and without depalletization. A facility with sortation may switch from item-level sortation of transshipments to container-level crossdock transshipment when a sortation process of a processing line approaches or exceeds capacity.

Crossdocking transshipments without sortation

An apparatus includes a memory and a processor. The memory can store a first address and a longitude, latitude, and altitude associated with the first address. The processor can receive a second address and determine that a user device associated with the second address is not located at the second address. In response to the determination that the user device is not located at the second address, the processor can approximate the geocoordinates of the second address based at least in part upon the longitude, latitude, and altitude associated with the first address.

Interpolating geolocation

An apparatus includes a memory and a processor. The processor receives, from a transporter device, an indication of a problem associated with locating a destination site associated with the first user device. In response to receiving the indication, the processor requests the geocoordinates of the first user device. The processor confirms that a second user device is located proximate the destination site, wherein the first user device requests the geocoordinates of the second user device in response to a determination that the first user device is not located proximate the destination site. The processor receives the geocoordinates of the second user device, and communicates, to the transporter device, the geocoordinates of the second user device.

Transport using geolocation

A system comprises a delivery application executing on a processor of a delivery device. The application communicates a message indicating a problem associated with locating a destination site for a user. The system further comprises a vendor server communicatively coupled to the processor of the delivery device. The vendor server receives the message indicating the problem associated with the first location, determines that the first location is associated with a second location that is within a predetermined distance of the first location, approximates geocoordinates associated with the first location based at least in part upon geocoordinates associated with the second location, and communicates the approximated geocoordinates to the delivery application.

A system comprises a delivery application executing on a processor of a delivery device. The application communicates a message indicating a problem associated with locating a destination site for a user. The system further comprises a user application executing on a processor of a user device. The user application communicates a message confirming that the user device is located at the destination site, and communicates geocoordinates of the destination site. The system further comprises a vendor server communicatively coupled to the processor of the delivery device and the processor of the user device. The vendor server communicates with the user application to receive the geocoordinates of the destination site. The vendor server further communicates the geocoordinates of the destination site to the delivery application.
