Segments of code are provided, configured to cause a camera of a device to in real time, take a sequence of images of a subject, the device being a computer that is a portable telephone device, having memory and a processor, and having the camera and a display, the sequence of images being stored. Segments of code are also provided that are configured to cause detecting of portions from each of the sequence of images, the portions corresponding to an object of the subject having features moving in time. The computer-readable media may be the memory of the device, wherein the code is executable by a controller provided in the device. The object in one aspect is a human face. Segments of code may also be provided that are configured to cause the device identifying, for each of plural images within the sequence, a set of object features from the detected portions. The device determines and defines movements of the object features. The device may also insert, in real time as the taken sequence of images are received by the device, a model insertion object into the taken images of the sequence in correspondence with the detected portions, thereby providing new inserted features corresponding to the object features. The device moves the new inserted features similar to the defined movements of the object features.

Customized program insertion system

Tools are provided to assisting in the driving of a given vehicle in motion. Various examples are provided related to systems and methods for managing operation of a vehicle. In one example, among others, a system includes one or more transducer arrays installed on a vehicle; a controller; at least one image pickup sensor; a diagnostic engine; and a display. The one or more transducer arrays can detect an object present within a detection area external to the vehicle. The controller can generate an object detection signal in response to detection of an object within a detection area. The diagnostic engine can monitor one or more attributes of a plurality of transducer elements of the one or more transducer arrays. The display can display object detection messages associated with the object detection signal, display images captured by the image pickup sensor, and/or receive user input via a user interface.

Systems and methods for managing vehicle operation

Fluid collection/injection device comprises a body having a front end, a back end, and a main hollow section arranged between the front and back ends and a needle hub securing section arranged on the front end and being structured and arranged to receive therein a needle member. The fluid collection/injection device is structured and arranged to utilize at least an operational mode, an operational mode, and a post-use mode. In the installation mode, the needle member is coupled to the body via the needle hub securing section. In the operational mode, fluid passes through the needle member and into or out of a receptacle inserted into the main hollow section.

Fluid collection/injection device having safety needle assembly/cover and safety system and method

A lancet device includes a housing, a removable front cap mounted to the housing, a lancet holding member, a trigger and an arming system comprising a grippable cocking member structured and arranged to place the lancet device in a trigger-set or armed position. A depth adjustment system includes a member that is at least slidable and partially rotatably mounted and that has an axis of rotation arranged substantially parallel to a center axis of the lancet holding member. An ejection system includes an ejector having a portion extending outside a sidewall opening of the housing and being located closer to a front end of the housing than to a rear end of the housing. The sidewall opening of the housing is arranged on an area of the housing located between the trigger and a wall of the housing located opposite the trigger. The ejection system is structured and arranged to at least one of prevent axial movement of the lancet holding member or remove or eject a lancet from the lancet holding member.

Lancet device with depth adjustment and lancet removal system and method

A needle tip assembly for a pre-loaded syringe or a pen needle injection device, including a needle with a first puncturing end projecting from a front side of a needle support and a second puncturing end projecting from a rear side of the needle support. A body sized to receive therein the needle support and the needle. The body including a front portion, a rear portion, and an overall axial length that is greater than an axial length of the needle. Prior to the needle tip assembly being in an installed condition on the pre-loaded syringe or pen needle injection device, the front portion covers the first puncturing end and the rear portion covers the second puncturing end. Prior to removal from the pre-loaded syringe or pen needle injection device, the body is at least axially movable to a position where the front portion covers the first puncturing end.

Pen needle tip and method of making and using the same

A needle tip assembly for a pre-loaded syringe or a pen needle injection device, the needle tip assembly including a body comprising a double-ended needle and being installable and removable from the pre-loaded syringe or pen needle injection device. A system is utilized for placing the lancet device in a trigger-set or armed position. A depth adjustment system includes a member that is at least partially rotatably mounted and that has an axis of rotation arranged substantially perpendicular to a center axis of the lancet holding member. An ejection system is utilized for at least one of preventing axial movement of the lancet holding member and removing or ejecting a lancet from the lancet holding member.

Embodiments are directed to methods for driving control of a given vehicle in motion. An object detecting transducer that is fixed to the given vehicle is driven in order to detect an object in a detection area at a detection distance away from the given vehicle. A notification message is communicated from the given vehicle to the object in the detection area. The notification message is sent when the object is detected at a too close distance.

Prior to the needle tip assembly being in an installed condition on the pre-loaded syringe or the pen needle injection device, each of the front portion covers a first puncturing end of the needle and the rear portion covers a second puncturing end of the needle. Prior to removal from the pre-loaded syringe or the pen needle injection device, the body is at least axially movably relative to the needle support to a position the front portion covers the first puncturing end.

A needle tip assembly for a pre-loaded syringe or a pen needle injection device. The needle tip assembly includes a body comprising a double-ended needle and being installable and removable from the pre-loaded syringe or pen needle injection device. A needle cap is configured to cover a skin puncturing end of the double-ended needle and is removable to exposed the skin puncturing end. An outer cover is structured and arranged to at least install the body onto the pre-loaded syringe or pen needle injection device and remove the body from the pre-loaded syringe or pen needle injection device after the outer cover is re-installed. The body is lockable to the outer cover upon one of re-installation of the outer cover and prior to the body being removed from the pre-loaded syringe or pen needle injection device.

A selection of a character or game for which modification is to be performed is received, and a model object is stored in association with a profile. An original signal is received, and it is determined whether the original signal includes a source signal including the character or of the game. When the original signal includes the source signal including the character or of the game, at least one portion of the source signal to be overlaid is identified. The model object stored in association with the profile, and at least one portion of the model object is inserted into the original signal in correspondence with the portion of the source signal to be overlaid. The original signal including the inserted portion of the model object is configured to be displayed at a user site.
