A printer dock for use with a digital data terminal, has a housing having a paper inlet portal, a first tray receiver, and a second tray receiver. The first tray receiver adjoins the paper inlet portal. The second tray receiver is disposed in spaced relation to the paper inlet portal. A printer engine is disposed in the housing. The printer engine has a paper path extending from an entrance facing the paper inlet portal. A device interface is operatively connectable to the data terminal and the printer engine. A paper tray is alternately mountable in a use position and a storage position. The paper tray, in the use position, is located in the first tray receiver and is disposed in operative relation to the printer engine. The paper tray, in the storage position, is located within the second tray receiver.

A method and apparatus for printing an image on a large surface area or walkway provides for imagewise marking of the surface with a color marking solution, to form a visible image on the surface during an image recording mode of a marking engine. The marking engine includes a scanner and the marking engine moves along the surface and operates the scanner to sense a crude image upon the surface and generates data signals representing the crude image or boundaries defined by the crude image scanned. In response to data signals the marking engine is operated to print an enhanced image of the crude image and/or to color the crude image so that the printing overlies the crude image.

A method for transmitting at least one digital image file between first and second devices, the first and second devices having limited range wireless transceivers; a user operating the first device selecting at least one electronic address designating said at least one second device; and said first device broadcasting at least one digital image file and the at least one selected electronic address until received and stored by one or more third non-designated devices. The method compares the received at least one selected electronic address to a stored electronic address belonging to said third non-designated device and automatically re-broadcasting the at least one digital image file if the received at least one selected electronic address does not match the stored electronic address of said at least one third non-designated device; and said at least one second device receiving and storing said at least one digital image file.

A method and apparatus for printing an image on a large surface area or walkway provides for imagewise marking of the surface with a color marking solution, to form a visible image on the surface during an image recording mode of a marking engine. A vehicle supports the marking engine and includes a drive that engages the surface at plural locations and moves the marking engine relative to the surface. The marking engine is located outboard of an area defined by lines connecting the plural locations so that during operation of the marking engine during the image recording mode the drive does not engage areas of the surface that have been previously imagewise marked.

A camera comprising a housing, and a carry strap attached to the housing to permit the carry strap to be longitudinally extended from the housing as a closed loop to receive one's hand in the closed loop and being elastic to be stretched around the housing to be stored on the housing, is characterized in that the carry strap has an ornamental figure which is arranged to be upstanding from the housing when the carry strap is stretched around the housing to be stored on the housing. Preferably, the carry strap has an integral platform that is wider than the remainder of the carry strap to serve as a support base for the ornamental figure. The platform is positioned on a top face of the housing, and the ornamental figure is upstanding on the platform, when the carry strap is stretched around the housing to be stored on the housing.

A watertight photographic single-use camera having a first and a second body shell that join together. The body shells comprise rigid polymer material and are adapted to receive a film transport device, a lens, a flash unit and a viewfinder. The first body shell forms the camera front section and the second body shell forms the camera rear section. A sealing means comprising an elastic polymer material is attached to an edge of at least one body shell that forms a joint and to at least one edge that forms a body opening. The elastic polymer material is attached by a multiple-component injection molding process and is connected to the body shell by chain looping (molecular entanglement) of the polymer material. As a result, the camera is dependably sealed against water and yet is inexpensive and simple to produce. For simple recyclability, the body shells can be crushed using known devices without separation of the polymer materials, with the resultant material mix being usable as a feedstock for the manufacture of new camera components.

A watertight body for accommodating a photographic camera. The body has a first and a second body shell of rigid polymer material that can be joined together for accommodating a photographic camera. The body has sealing means comprising elastic polymer material provided by a multiple-component injection molding process on an edge of at least one body shell that forms the joint and on surface areas of the body shells. The elastic polymer material is connected to the body shell by chain looping (molecular entanglement) of the polymer materials. The result is that the body is reliably sealed against water and is nevertheless inexpensive and simple to manufacture. For a simple and correspondingly inexpensive recyclability of the body, the body shells can be crushed without separation of the polymer materials using known devices, with the resultant material mix being usable as an admixture for the manufacture of new camera components.
