A luminaire includes a back plate and a wire cover. The back plate includes a first tab that defines a tab receiving cavity. Further, the first tab includes a first mating feature formed therein. The wire cover includes an inner surface that defines an electronics cavity, an outer surface that defines a light source mounting platform, and a second tab. The second tab includes a second mating feature that is complementary to the first mating feature. The second tab of the wire cover is disposed in the tab receiving cavity defined by the first tab of the back plate to removably couple the wire cover to the back plate. Further, the second mating feature of the second tab engages the first mating feature of the first tab to releasably lock the wire cover to the back plate.

A modular troffer luminaire includes a housing having a perimeter frame, and a first light module removably attached to the housing. The first light module is replaceable by a second light module after the modular troffer luminaire is installed, where the first light module comprises an LED light source and an optic. The modular troffer luminaire further includes a sensor attached to the perimeter frame. The first light module is controllable based on sensing information from the sensor.

A troffer luminaire includes a housing and a door attached the housing. The door includes a first end plate and a second end plate. Disposed between the first and second end plates are a first reflector that has a first flange and a second reflector that has a second flange. The edges of a flexible lens are disposed in the first flange and the second flange, respectively.

A luminaire includes a door frame assembly that comprises an end plate. The end plate includes a top edge and a bottom edge that is opposite to the top edge, where the end plate extends from the bottom edge to the top edge. Further, the end plate includes a notch. Furthermore, the end plate may include a light redirecting flange that may be coupled to or integral with the end plate. The light redirecting flange may be positioned adjacent the notch in the end plate and at an angle with the end plate to redirect light from a light source of the luminaire that exits through the notch back towards a lens of the luminaire.

A component housing band includes a center portion that comprises an aperture extending through the center portion and a mounting structure disposed adjacent to the aperture. The mounting structure extends from a surface of the center portion in a direction that is substantially normal to the corresponding surface of the center portion. The mounting structure engages the ends of a notch in a lens and forms a cavity to house an electronic component. Further, the component housing band includes a first elongated arm portion and a second elongated arm portion integral with the center portion and extending away from opposite ends of the center portion in opposite directions, respectively. The ends of the first elongated arm portion and the second elongated arm portion that are away from the center portion and opposite to each other are adapted to engage with corresponding latch structures of the lens.

The present disclosure provides systems and techniques for a lighting fixture with a motion sensor and an emergency battery test switch. The disclosure herein provides a lighting fixture for fitting within a ceiling, wall, or other surface. The lighting fixture includes a frame which forms the perimeter of the lighting fixture. The frame includes two endplates and two side bars, forming an outer frame of the lighting fixture. The frame further includes a device mounting bracket coupled between the two endplates, separating the outer frame into two frames. Each of the two frames houses a lightguide which is coupled to a light source. Each of the light guides are coupled with a back reflector. The motion sensor and emergency battery test switch can be coupled to the device mounting bracket or elsewhere on the frame.
