The present disclosure relates to a holster, comprising a control component, wherein the holster is adapted to allow a user the option of drawing a weapon and an accessory attached to the weapon. Further disclosed herein is a holster, comprising a control component adapted to receive a handgun assembly comprising a handgun and a light accessory attached to the handgun, and further comprising one or more actuators, wherein the one or more actuators are capable of moving between a neutral position and an engaged position, as the handgun assembly is inserted into the holster, retained in the holster, or drawn from the holster. Also disclosed herein are methods of using the holster.

Holster

A holster for a handgun includes a plurality of projecting features for engaging receiving features on a handgun component. The holster includes a locking feature controlled by a mechanism to selectively engage or disengage the handgun component from the holster.

Quick draw gun holster

In accordance with the present disclosure, novel quick draw hand gun holsters are described, together with methods for using them, that are capable, at a user's option, of activating a light accessory, such a light and/or laser sighting device, when the gun is drawn from the holster, and of deactivating it when the gun is inserted in the holster. Additional embodiments are also described.

Quick draw gun holster with interactive accessory device

Improvements in an emergency switch for an end cap flashlight that allows conducting power to the light source by applying side or rotational force on the end caps of the flashlight. The cap is designed to give faster and more convenient access to light in an emergency, or when needed. The end cap connects to the inner conductor with a castled shape that allows the conductors to be moved in or out alignment to allow or prevent contact. The gasket or washer provides insulation and spacing of the conductors. Side forces on the end cap overcome the spacing of the washer to make electrical contact. The end cap may also support a glass breaking device. The glass breaker is a hardened tip on the end of the cap.

Emergency switch for a flashlight

A holster for a handgun includes an adapter configured to be coupled to a front end portion of the gun, a housing having an internal cavity defined by a pair of parallel side walls held in spaced opposition to each other by a spacer wall, complementary sliding features respectively disposed on the adapter and interior surfaces of the side walls and engagable with each other so as to enable the adapter to be slidably received in the cavity of the housing, complementary latching features respectively disposed on the adapter and interior surfaces of the side walls and engagable with each other so as to prevent the withdrawal of the adapter from the cavity of the housing until selectably released therefrom, and a mechanism for selectably releasing the engagement of the latching features with each other so as to enable the withdrawal of the adapter from the cavity of the housing.

A quick detachable mount is disclosed, wherein the quick detachable mount can be operated with one hand for mounting or detaching the mount from a mounting location (e.g. picatinny rail). The quick detachable mount has a button that can be depressed with the user's thumb while the user's index or middle finger are on the opposite side of the mount (or vice versa). The button when depressed moves a wedge to allow for a pivoting jaw to rotate toward a disengaged position. When the button is released, the wedge contacts the pivoting jaw to traverse the pivoting jaw toward the engaged position.

Quick detachable firearm accessory mount

Improvements in a quick detachable firearm accessory mount. That uses a dovetail lock that is wedged with a spring to increase the locking force on the dovetail. The quick detachable firearm accessory mount is quickly installed and removed by pressing onto a button, tilting and lifting the quick detachable firearm accessory mount with the accessory such as a scope, flashlight or laser.
