A method of cleaning a cylinder head using pressurized fluid and a tooling assembly for the same includes a jet ignition insert attached to a spark plug well defined by the cylinder head. The insert defines an opening in fluid communication with the spark plug well. The insert includes an end wall attached to the insert distal end to close one end of the opening and the end wall defines holes. The tooling assembly includes a tool configured to clean the insert. A first engagement surface of the insert and a second engagement surface of the tool engage each other to form a seal that surrounds the holes of the insert such that the pressurized fluid is directed through the holes and into the opening of the insert during the first operation procedure of the tooling assembly to flush debris out of the holes of the insert.
