The disclosure generally relates to filaments and in particular, filaments for use in fused filament fabrication to prepare 3D printed articles. The filaments comprising a polymer composition, said polymer composition comprising: a) about 5 wt. % to about 60 wt. % of a thermoplastic polymer A having a melting peak temperature greater than 40&#xb0; C.; b) about 95 wt. % to about 40 wt. % of a thermoplastic polymer B having a melting peak temperature greater than 20&#xb0; C.; c) optionally from about 0.1 to 3 wt. % of a viscosity modifier; wherein: the melting peak temperature of thermoplastic polymer A is at least 20&#xb0; C. greater than the melting peak temperature of thermoplastic polymer B; thermoplastic polymer A is dispersed in thermoplastic polymer B; and the polymer composition has a melt index of at least 0.1 g/10 minutes using a 10 kg weight measured according to ASTM D1238-13 at a temperature which is less than the melting peak temperature of thermoplastic polymer A and which is greater than the melting peak temperature of thermoplastic polymer B.

Filament compositions for fused filament fabrication and methods of use thereof

Polyamide-filled EVA copolymer compositions comprising a continuous EVA copolymer phase and a discontinuous polyamide phase are produced by a melt mixing process. When crosslinked with peroxide curatives the polyamide-filled EVA copolymer compositions exhibit enhanced resistance to heat aging compared to EVA elastomer compositions reinforced with carbon black or other inorganic fillers.

Heat aging resistant ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer composition and process for its production

Disclosed herein are curable heat resistant ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer-polyamide blend compositions, wherein the ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer has a melting peak temperature of 100&#xb0; C. or less. The blend compositions comprise 0.1 to 10 weight percent dispersed polyamide, and may be cured to form articles having improved heat resistance while maintaining the desirable physical properties of unmodified, cured ethylene vinyl acetate articles.

Heat resistant ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer composition and process for its production

Heat resistant ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer compositions comprising a blend of ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer, peroxide curable polyacrylate elastomer, and polyamide are described. When crosslinked with a peroxide curative, the ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer compositions exhibit enhanced resistance to heat aging compared to conventional ethylene vinyl acetate elastomer compositions.

Polyamide-filled acrylate copolymer compositions comprising a continuous acrylate copolymer phase and a discontinuous polyamide phase are produced by a melt mixing process. When crosslinked with diamine curatives the polyamide-filled acrylate copolymer compositions exhibit enhanced resistance to heat aging compared to carbon black-reinforced acrylate copolymer compositions.

Heat-stabilized acrylate elastomer composition and process for its production

Disclosed herein is a curable composition comprising ethylene copolymer elastomer, a relatively small amount of a polyamide, and optionally a compatibilizer wherein curable composition demonstrates improved heat aging properties without the loss of tensile strength. Also disclosed is the process for making such curable ethylene copolymer elastomer.

Heat resistant hydrocarbon elastomer compositions

Disclosed herein is a polyamide-filled curable hydrocarbon elastomer compositions having enhanced heat aging performance where the presence of conventional filler, such as carbon black or silica, does not detract from desired heat stability properties. Also disclosed are polyamide-filled curable hydrocarbon elastomer compositions where the use of compatibilzer is optional, for polyamides having an inherent viscosity of greater than 0.88 dL/g.

Process for production of a heat-stabilized acrylate polymer

A process aid for improving the processability of non-fluorinated melt processible polymers contains a fluoroelastomer having a Mooney viscosity (ML (1+10) at 121&#xb0; C.) between 30 and 100 and at least two interfacial agents, one a polycaprolactone having a Mn between 2000 and 8000 and the other a polyalkylene oxide having a Mn between 3000 and 5000.
