A combine harvester with a feeder house assembly, the assembly including a feeder house with an inlet end; a tilt frame surrounding the inlet end of the feeder house and in pivotal arrangement relative to the feeder house; a gearbox attached to the tilt frame; and a first dog clutch operably coupled to the gearbox.

Automatic header coupling

A combine harvester with a chassis, an implement coupled to the chassis, and a hydraulic system. The hydraulic system includes plural hydraulic cylinders coupled to the chassis and operative to cause movement of the implement, and a cylinder circuit coupled to the plural hydraulic cylinders. The cylinder circuit includes an actuable valve configured to enable hydraulic fluid flow through the plural hydraulic cylinders to enable the movement of the implement and a control system. The control system includes one or more sensors, each configured to provide a signal based on a motion of the chassis, and a controller configured to receive the signals from the one or more sensors and cause actuation of the actuable valve to cause the plural hydraulic cylinders to move the implement based on the signals to counter the motion of the chassis.

Active header control

In one embodiment, a method comprising rotationally molding a snout of a corn row divider assembly, the snout comprising a double-walled structure; rotationally molding a first conduit into a surface of the double-walled structure, the first conduit extending from an aft end of the snout to a location proximal to the fore end of the snout; attaching a sensor to the snout at a location proximal to the fore end of the snout; inserting a first wire harness into the first conduit, the first wire harness extending between the aft end of the snout and the location proximal to the fore end; and connecting the first wire harness to the sensor.

Wire harness integrated with rotational mold

An agricultural machine, such as a combine harvester, includes a chassis supported by a pair of front wheels and a pair of steerable rear wheels, a first drive mechanism for driving at least one of the front wheels to move the chassis at a designated forward speed, and a second drive mechanism configured to operate independently of the first drive mechanism and to drive at least one of the rear wheels. A controller is configured to actuate the second drive mechanism in response to a user command to drive the at least one rear wheel to apply forward pressure on the chassis regardless of the forward speed. The controller may actuate the second drive mechanism to apply a maximum forward torque to the at least one rear wheel to thereby apply the forward pressure to the chassis.
