A method, system, and computer readable medium are disclosed for providing enterprise multi-technology core and subscriber management. In one embodiment a method includes providing an enterprise network including: at least one Open connect Provider (OP); at least one Access Point (AP) in communication with at least one OP; a locally placed edge core in communication with at least one AP; and using a single sign on service for the edge core to allow different services to be used by different users.

In one embodiment, a method is disclosed, comprising: performing traffic analysis to determine off-peak hours duration when traffic is light; updating downlink and uplink schedulers to transmit a minimum required signaling and control information; and wherein updating downlink and uplink scheduler for minimum required signaling and control information further comprises scheduling, in a downlink direction, at least one of transmitting only reference symbols over selected OFDM symbols, PDCCH on up to a first three OFDM symbols, PSS and SSS on a central six PRBs and PBCH.

Energy-efficient base station with synchronization

In the case that several transmitting elements (e.g., a Tx chain) are simultaneously impaired, at least two different layouts are possible: the defected Tx chains are randomly scattered around the array; or, the defected Tx chains are aligned vertically on a random column (for 12 and 24 defected Tx chains—1 and 2 such columns are randomly chosen, respectively). It can be seen that the throughput is worse when the defected Tx chains are aligned in a column rather than randomly scattered, unless the defective Tx chains are known, in which case it is the opposite. This is because disabling an entire column has the most significant effect on the spatial null steering. When defected Tx chains are known the performance of all layouts are almost the same, though column yields slightly better results due to the antenna subarrays (2 vertical antennas have the same feed, therefore we lose less degrees of freedom).

In one embodiment, a method is disclosed, comprising: receiving metadata regarding a data stream from a data source; performing an analysis of the metadata at a service orchestrator; creating at least one container instance based on the analysis; streaming the data stream from the data source to a data sink via the at least one container; and processing the data stream as it passes through the at least one container instance, thereby enabling application-aware processing of data streams in real time prior to arrival at the data store.

SIM whitelisting and multi-operator core networks

Described herein are systems and methods for providing software provisioning of functionality in a wireless communications device. Software-enabling functionality may include systems for granting a license to intellectual property or other pre-embedded functionality within a device. Communications to and from the device may be used to send or receive activation messages and/or licensing messages. Network capabilities may be provisioned using activation messages sent over the network. Activation messages may be sent in-band or out-of-band, for a device connected to the Internet and/or a mobile operator core network. Licenses may be required for any functions or intellectual property present on a given device. Activation may enable logical modules of a system-on-chip (SOC), functions of a software-defined radio (SDR), baseband, or DSP core. The disclosed systems and methods could thereby provide a new, flexible paradigm, namely, 'Silicon as a Service (SaaS).'
