A wheel sensor communication system () includes a primary coil () and a secondary coil (), which operate as an electromagnetic transformer which is uncoupled mechanically but coupled electrically through a vehicle wheel assembly rotational interface. Tire sensor communication system

A radio frequency transmitter circuit including a user input switch for producing an input signal, an oscillator for producing a frequency signal having a first frequency, an antenna connected to the oscillator for broadcasting the frequency signal, a coupling circuit disposed a predetermined distance from the antenna, and a microprocessor for enabling the oscillator and activating the coupling circuit in response to the input signal. When the coupling circuit is activated, a reflected impedance, derived from a change in inductance, is reflected from the coupling circuit upon the antenna thereby shifting the frequency signal to a second frequency. Sequentially activating and deactivating the coupling circuit modulates the frequency signal.

System and method for modulating a frequency signal

The present invention teaches a hands-free remote entry system primarily for vehicles. This system comprises a base transceiver having wake-up sensors for automatically detecting an object. Once an object is detected, a transmitter within the base transceiver transmits a wake-up/data signal to a fob transceiver. A wake-up receiver within the fob transceiver receives the wake-up/data signal. Upon receipt of the wake-up/data signal, the fob transceiver transmits an identification/data signal, via a transmitter, back to a receiver in the base transceiver. In response to receiving the identification signal, output drivers from the base transceiver actuate a door lock system and an auto theft system.

Hands-free remote entry system

A unique transmitter broadcasting a single RF (radio frequency) signal in response to a single input for controlling a plurality of electrical vehicle accessories. To control the plurality of accessories, the RF signal conveys multiple information components. In a preferred embodiment, the transmitter operates in conjunction with a RF receiver installed in a vehicle to unlock the doors of the vehicle when a unique RF signal is broadcast within a defined range and actuate the horn of the vehicle when the same RF signal is broadcast outside of the defined range.

The system additionally incorporates a base for receiving the member. The base incorporates a light source for generating a light beam to illuminate the plurality of reflective surfaces, and a light detector for sensing the illuminated plurality of reflective surfaces and for initiating a security function in response to the sensed illuminated plurality of reflective surfaces having the pattern.
