A server system stores a database of records. Each record stores a digital image of a pet, facial recognition markers, and owner identification information. An owner may register his/her pet using a cellular telephone and a mobile app. The owner is prompted to supply a digital photograph of the pet and to enter eye and nose location information. The system generates therefrom facial recognition markers and stores the markers in a record. If a lost pet is found, a finding user can use a cellular telephone to take a picture of the animal and to enter eye and nose location information. The system generates markers and compares the markers in a facial recognition process to other stored markers to identify records of animals that resemble the lost pet. If the record of the lost pet is identified, then owner identification information in the record is used to contact the owner.

A method is described for correlating microscopy images from a number of modalities in a sub diffraction resolution environment. The method may include receiving a number of datasets that may represent microscopy captures from a number of different modalities. The microscopy captures may contain feature markers that may be used to register a number of data points contained in a dataset with data points from another dataset. Upon registering the data points of the datasets, a combined dataset may be produced and a visual image of the combined dataset may be provided.

A method of providing provenance management for a pre-existing application is provided. A provenance data selection is received. The provenance data selection indicates provenance data to present to a user. The provenance data is presented to the user as a version tree comprising a plurality of connected nodes. A node selection is received. The node selection indicates a node selected from the version tree. One or more nodes from a root node of the plurality of connected nodes to the node selected from the version tree are identified. One or more action parameters associated with the identified one or more nodes are identified. An action parameter of the one or more action parameters is associated with a previous interaction with a pre-existing application. Presentation of a state of the pre-existing application associated with the node selected from the version tree is triggered.

Enabling provenance management for pre-existing applications

A folding rigid boat for routine and emergency use by occupants as an auxiliary watercraft and including complementary rigid bow and rigid stern sections joined together along respective mating edges to form a hull, complementary rigid hinge elements cooperating together to form a centrally-disposed joint pivotally connecting the bow and stern sections along a port-to-starboard axis in vertically spaced-apart relation to the bottom of the hull for permitting the bow and stern sections to be folded onto themselves into a storage configuration and away from each other along the joint into an unfolded use configuration. Flexible topsides are secured to the hull along at least port and starboard sides of the hull for providing an upwardly-extending freeboard to the hull when the boat is in the unfolded use configuration. The topsides are unconnected to and independent of the rigid hinge elements. Waterproofing is carried by the bow and stern sections and is unconnected to and independent of the rigid hinge elements for preventing water leakage through centrally-disposed joint when in the boat is in the unfolded use configuration.

Folding rigid-bottom boat

A device for providing stability and directional control to a boat. The device includes a flexible water container for being deployed from one quadrant of the boat and including opposing sides, a top and a bottom, a relatively large forwardly-directed mouth opening for capturing a predetermined large quantity of water at a predetermined rate, a relatively small aft-directed drain in the opposite end of the container for discharging aft a quantity of water at a rate substantially lower than the rate at which water is captured by the mouth, and forward attachment lines carried by the container proximate a bottom side of the mouth for securing the device in close proximity to the boat by attachment to at least one forward attachment point carried by the boat amidship with the mouth in an open condition for capturing water therein, and additional attachment lines carried by the container proximate a top side of the mouth for securing the container to the boat.

A folding rigid-inflatable boat for routine and emergency use by occupants as an auxiliary watercraft. The floating rigid-inflatable boat includes a hull having complementary rigid bow and rigid stern sections joined together along common, centrally disposed joint edges, a hinge element extending laterally from port to starboard along the centrally disposed joint edges and pivotally connecting the bow and stern sections together for permitting the bow and stern sections to be folded onto themselves into a storage configuration and into an unfolded use configuration; and inflatable topsides secured to the hull and extending around the periphery of the hull for providing an upwardly extending freeboard and for further providing rigidity to the hull when the boat is in the unfolded use configuration.
