Embodiments of the present invention address deficiencies of the art in respect to cut and paste object processing for instant messaging and provide a method, system and computer program product for clipboard object sharing for instant messaging. In an embodiment of the invention, a method for clipboard object sharing in an instant messaging session can include requesting transfer of a clipboard object from a source instant messaging client to a target instant messaging client in an instant messaging session, determining whether or not the target instant messaging client supports a format of the clipboard object, and transferring the clipboard object to the target instant messaging client only if the target instant messaging client supports the format of the clipboard object.

Clipboard object sharing for instant messaging

Multiple modules are installed, with each module installed in one of multiple outlets to be mapped. A probe is triggered to propagate a signal that provides circuit information at one of multiple circuit interrupts, where the signal is detectable by any of the modules connected by a single circuit to the one circuit interrupt from which the signal is propagated. The circuit information is retrieved from any of the modules that detected the signal as an indication that the modules from which the circuit information is retrieved are connected to the single circuit.

Mapping circuits

A first selectable slide presentation priority level assigned to a slide presentation is determined responsive to detecting an indication from a user using an input device to start the slide presentation. Individual slides of the slide presentation determined to include an assigned individual slide priority level equal to or higher than the assigned first selectable slide presentation priority level are selectively presented. Automated dynamic reprioritization of presentation materials

In V2V or other networks in which multiple video feeds are available to a participant, the participant's ability to select a particular video feed for display can be eased through the use of guided scanning. A guided scanning strategy is built based on operator inputs and used to select a particular set of video feeds that are initially shown as a video 'slideshow' on the display used by the participant. Each video feed appears only for a limited period of time to enable easy participant review. Once the participant sees a particular video feed of interest, that video feed to can be selected for persisted presentation on the display.

Systems, methods and articles of manufacture are disclosed for generating a webpage. In one embodiment, a request may be received from a user to view the webpage that includes portlets. A time of the request may be identified. The portlets may be provided. Based on an interaction history of the user and the identified time of the request, the portlets may be arranged on the webpage. The webpage may be output for display, in response to the request.

Analyzing an interaction history to generate a customized webpage

A probe is adapted to send a signal over a selected circuit and to provide circuit information. One or more modules have a connector for electrically connecting to an outlet, logic interconnected with the connector for detecting the signal and receiving the circuit information, and an indicator interconnected with the logic for presenting the circuit information in response to the signal. A computer is operably associated with the probe and configured to execute a program of instructions to provide a breaker box representation and an electronic record of one or more rooms showing outlet symbols that identify the location of outlets. The computer is configured to execute the program of instructions to collect the circuit information from the one or more modules and to associate the circuit information with a corresponding breaker on the breaker box representation and on outlet symbols on the electronic record of one or more rooms.

A system, method and program product for facilitating copy and paste operations of an object between a source application and a target application in an interactive computing environment. A system is disclosed that includes: a formatting system for determining a set of target formats for the object; and a container system for installing a container into the target application, wherein the container includes a selection system for selectively rendering the object in each of the target formats within the container.

Visual selection and rendering of multiple clip board formats

A system and method for reporting a user's behavior and patterns when engaged in use of an electronic consumable. In a preferred embodiment, an electronic consumable such as an electronic book or library includes detectors for collecting biological information from a user. This information is analyzed to identify the user's interests in and reactions to the electronic consumable.

Self-contained and automated eLibrary profiling system

To warn of hazardous conditions in a monitored space, the presence of an object bearing an RFID tag is detected using an RFID tag reader. Objects may be, for example, human beings, vehicles, or stationary materiel. A determination is made as to whether the object poses a hazard by, for example, reading data from the RFID tag or by accessing a database using data read from the RFID tag. If the object is determined to pose a hazard, the nature of the hazard is determined from the RFID tag or the database, and warning about the nature of the hazard is provided proximate to the monitored space. In some embodiments, providing the warning may be conditional upon detecting the concurrent presence of two objects in the monitored space.

A method, apparatus and program product are provided for mapping electrical circuits. A user provides an electronic record of one or more rooms with outlets to be mapped and installs a module in each outlet to be mapped. Using an interactive program, the user prepares a diagram of a circuit box. The user triggers a probe to propagate a signal detectable by said modules over a circuit and to provide circuit information. The user retrieves the circuit information from the modules. Then, the interactive program associates the circuit information from each module with a corresponding outlet on said electronic record of one or more rooms.

A system and method of controlling a portable radio may involve tuning a first receiver of the portable radio to a first broadcast from a first station, where the first broadcast includes specific program content. A switching event can be detected at the portable radio, where a second receiver of the portable radio may be tuned to a second broadcast from a second station in response to the switching event. The second broadcast can include the specific program content.

A method, system and compute program product for modifying sporting event participant decorations displayed on a fiber optic 'Turf TV' playing surface. A utility calculates a direction of movement of a player or object in proximity to the playing surface, which is configured to display images, during a live sporting event. The utility adds a graphical aura to a real-time graphical image displayed in proximity to the player on the playing surface. The utility animates the aura in response to wind and/or noise in proximity to the playing surface. The utility modifies the aura based on pre-defined custom attributes, penalties, errors, and/or player status. If the player moves, the utility adds a graphical player trail to the image. The utility also adds a graphical object trail that includes previous locations of an object. The object trail may also include spin and a visual appearance corresponding to an object height.

Modification of turf TV participant decorations based on multiple real-time factors

A method, system and computer program product for identifying which participant joined or exited a conference call. A participant to a conference call is able to select a personalized tone from a list of predetermined tones or to upload a personalized tone to a designated site, where the personalized tone is to be played upon the participant joining and/or exiting the conferencing call. In this manner, the other participants of the conference call would know which participant joined or exited the conference call.
