A method of transacting a liability, comprising: defining smart contract which separates a set of rights as a first fungible token type and set of responsibilities as a second fungible token type, the second token type comprising a representation of a liability; in a first transaction, establishing a first transaction consideration which offsets a difference in a value of the set of rights and the set of responsibilities, and allocating a first fungible token with a requirement to pay the consideration to a first party, and allocating the second fungible token with a right to receive the consideration to a second party; and in a second transaction, merging possession of a token of the first fungible token type and a token of the second fungible token type, and extinguish the smart contract set of rights and the set of responsibilities to thereby satisfy the liability.

Tokenized fungible liabilities

A system and method for receiving an ordered set of images and analyzing the images to determine at least one position in space and at least one motion vector in space and time for at least one object represented in the images is disclosed. Using these vectors, a four dimensional model of at least a portion of the information represented in the images is formulated. This model generally obeys the laws of physics, though aberrations may be imposed. The model is then exercised with an input parameter, which, for example, may represent a different perspective than the original set of images. The four dimensional model is then used to produce a modified set of ordered images in dependence on the input parameter and optionally the set of images, e.g., if only a portion of the data represented in the images is modeled. The set of images may then be rendered on a display device.

System and method for synthetic interaction of objects

A metamaterial comprising, a plurality of acoustic vector field sensors, each configured to sense an acoustic vector field of a fluid within a fluid-filled space in response to fluid waves, and producing an electrical signal corresponding to the sensed acoustic vector field; a processor configured to perform a time and space transform on the electrical signal; and at least one phased array transducer, configured to emit fluid waves according to a produced acoustic vector field pattern dependent on a result of the time and space transform, a within a portion of the fluid.

A digital communication method, comprising: providing a digital packet radio transceiver which communicates through an antenna array, defining a directional pattern with distinct spatial communication channels using a plurality of frequency channels; detecting channel conditions based on a feedback protocol between the digital packet radio transceiver and a remote digital packet radio system, selectively controlling the digital packet transceiver to transmit information responsive to the channel conditions; detecting another digital packet radio transceiver concurrently using the same frequency channels, and selectively controlling an interference with the other digital packet radio transceiver in dependence on information from the other digital packet radio transceiver, by one of deferring to transmissions by the other digital packet radio transceiver, and competing with transmissions by the other digital packet radio transceiver.

System and method for communication

A method of controlling a gyroscopically-stabilized projectile, comprising a control system producing a control signal, a rotating aerodynamic shell, and a reaction mass system responsive to the control signal, the method comprising: imparting rotational and translational kinetic energy to induce gyroscopic stabilization of the projectile about a gyroscopic axis and a movement of the projectile along a flight path; interacting the shell with surrounding air while moving, to induce aerodynamic forces; generating the control signal from the control system; and altering a state of the reaction wheel system selectively in dependence on the control signal, to alter the flight path.

Steerable disk or ball

An adaptive interface for a programmable system, for predicting a desired user function, based on user history, as well as machine internal status and context. The apparatus receives an input from the user and other data. A predicted input is presented for confirmation by the user, and the predictive mechanism is updated based on this feedback. Also provided is a pattern recognition system for a multimedia device, wherein a user input is matched to a video stream on a conceptual basis, allowing inexact programming of a multimedia device. The system analyzes a data stream for correspondence with a data pattern for processing and storage. The data stream is subjected to adaptive pattern recognition to extract features of interest to provide a highly compressed representation which may be efficiently processed to determine correspondence. Applications of the interface and system include a VCR, medical device, vehicle control system, audio device, environmental control system, securities trading terminal, and smart house. The system optionally includes an actuator for effecting the environment of operation, allowing closed-loop feedback operation and automated learning.

Ergonomic man-machine interface incorporating adaptive pattern recognition based control system

A method for providing unequal allocation of rights among agents while operating according to fair principles, comprising assigning a hierarchal rank to each agent; providing a synthetic economic value to a first set of agents at the a high level of the hierarchy; allocating portions of the synthetic economic value by the first set of agents to a second set of agents at respectively different hierarchal rank than the first set of agents; and conducting an auction amongst agents using the synthetic economic value as the currency. A method for allocation among agents, comprising assigning a wealth generation function for generating future wealth to each of a plurality of agents, communicating subjective market information between agents, and transferring wealth generated by the secure wealth generation function between agents in consideration of a market transaction. The method may further comprise the step of transferring at least a portion of the wealth generation function between agents.

Multifactorial optimization system and method

The inventive method involves receiving as input a representation of an ordered set of two dimensional images. The ordered set of two dimensional images is analyzed to determine at least one first view of an object in at least two dimensions and at least one motion vector. The next step is analyzing the combination of the first view of the object in at least two dimensions, the motion vector, and the ordered set of two dimensional images to determine at least a second view of the object; generating a three dimensional representation of the ordered set of two dimensional images on the basis of at least the first view of the object and the second view of the object. Finally, the method involves providing indicia of the three dimensional representation as an output.

Two dimensional to three dimensional moving image converter

A method for controlling a flying projectile which rotates during flight, comprising: determining an angle of rotation of an inertial mass spinning about an axis during flight; and controlling at least one actuator for altering at least a portion of an aerodynamic structure, selectively in dependence on the determined angle of rotation and a control input, to control aerodynamic forces during flight. An aerodynamic surface may rotate and interact with surrounding air during flight, to produce aerodynamic forces. A sensor determines an angular rotation of the spin during flight. A control system, responsive to the sensor, produces a control signal in dependence on the determined angular rotation. An actuator selectively alters an aerodynamic characteristic of the aerodynamic surface in response to the control signal.

Steerable rotating projectile

A method for controlling a door, comprising the steps of storing energy during a manual opening of a door, sensing an object within a doorway, selectively applying a force derived from the stored energy, to close the door, based on the sensing of an object in the doorway. The closure is preferably controlled by an electronic control. A door closing device comprising an energy storage device for storing energy during door opening and releasing the stored energy to subsequently close the door, a damping system for damping a closure of the door, a sensor for detecting an object within a doorway, having an output, a controllable device for selectively restraining the energy storage device from closing the door, and a control system for controlling the controllable device based on the output.
