A modular removable covering and barrier system. In one embodiment, a removable pool or pond covering system includes a track assembly installed on a deck along the perimeter of a pool, a sheet of plastic or other suitable material spanning the area enclosed by the track assembly, a bottom seal between the track assembly and the deck, and a top seal between the track system and the sheet of plastic. The track assembly may be modular such that the track assembly can be installed on any size and shape of pool or pond and can be easily stored when not in use.

Modular removable covering and barrier system

A fully collapsible lightweight mount to support a cargo loading apparatus. The mount has releasably attached horizontal and vertical arms, with a bracket to adjustably attach a cargo loading device on the vertical arm. In one embodiment, the horizontal arms have brackets configured to attach to 'stake holes' in the standard side walls of a pickup truck cargo bed. The vertical arm of the device may be further supported against for example, a cargo bed forward wall or floor by a floor brace. Alternatively horizontal arm may attach to a pickup truck trailer hitch by additional mounts and connecting arm components suitable for attachment to a class 3 trailer hitch. The component parts can be readily assembled and disassembled, are lightweight, and occupy little space. The disassembled device can be stored in a carrying bag in the cab or other compartment of a vehicle.

Collapsible, lightweight mount to support a cargo loading device

A progressive cavity helical device which includes a stator with an internal helical cavity. A helical rotor operates within the internal helical cavity of the stator. The rotor has a mandrel of metal, plastic or composite material and an outer covering of elastomeric or resilient material.

Progressive cavity helical device

The stator, rotor and/or flex shaft of a progressive cavity motor is made up of composite materials, e.g., fiberglass and resin, in a variety of combinations with and without bonded resilient elastomers. The composites are formulated to provide resiliency and non-resiliency where needed. The flex shaft between the rotary power source and the rotor is made of composite materials and designed to absorb the orbital and gyrational movement of the rotor.

Progressive cavity motors using composite materials

A downhole submersible fluid pump having a progressive cavity motor section driving a rotary pump such as a centrifugal or axial pump. In the motor section an inner helical member is fixed relative to an outer rotatable member having helical threads. By forcing power fluid into the motor chamber between the inner and outer member causes the outer member to rotate relative to the fixed inner member. This rotary motion is transmitted to a rotary member of a centrifugal pump, for example, drawing fluids from the subterranean formation upwardly as produced fluids.

This rotary motion is transmitted via the housing to the rotary member of a centrifugal pump drawing fluids from the subterranean formation upwardly as produced fluids.

A downhole submersible fluid pump having a progressive cavity motor section and a progressive cavity pump section. In each section the rotor is fixed and the pumping action occurs by forcing power fluid into the motor chamber around the rotor which action causes the normally fixed stator to rotate around relative to the fixed rotor. This rotary motion is transmitted via the housing to the pump stator formed internally thereof which rotates relative to another fixed rotor drawing fluids from the subterranean formation upwardly as produced fluids.

Reverse Moineau motor and pump assembly for producing fluids from a well

An artificial lifting system is designed for use at a pumping installation which has a pump drive at the surface or head end of a well and a reciprocating pump positioned in the lower end of the well. The artificial lifting system has a tubing string connected between the pump drive and the pump for performing the dual functions of reciprocating the pump plunger in response to activation of the pump drive, and for transporting oil from the underground source to the wellhead. The tubing string advantageously is constructed of a plurality of lightweight, non-metallic tubing segments which are axially connected to form an elongated conduit of several thousand feet in length. In the exemplary embodiment, the tubing segments are made of a glass and carbon reinforced epoxy resin. Preferably, the composite material has a density of approximately 0.1 pounds per cubic inch and a fiber content of approximately 60% by volume, with the resulting composite material having an elastic modulus in excess of 700,000 psi. The invention additionally is directed to various structural features for facilitating the implementation of such a composite lifting system.
