A lighting assembly includes a lamp alignment assembly for positioning the lamps after the lighting assembly is installed. The lighting assembly includes a ceiling pan for mounting to the ceiling support and a lamp assembly attached to the ceiling pan. The lamp assembly is adjustable in a transverse and rotational direction with respect to the ceiling pan. A stop member on the ceiling pan is received in an aperture in the lamp assembly to limit movement of the lamp assembly on the base. The lamp assembly is provided with alignment springs to align the lamp assembly at predetermined settings. A sight window is formed in the ceiling to visually set the lamp assembly in a selected position. A locking member on the lamp assembly locks the lamp assembly in a fixed position on the ceiling pan.

Lamp alignment assembly and lighting device

A lighting assembly includes a lamp alignment assembly for positioning the lamps after the lighting assembly is installed. Lighting assembly with aperture alignment assembly

A luminaire and lighting assembly is provided having a ceiling pan and a light assembly supported on the ceiling pan. The light assembly is rotatable and movable in a lateral direction on the ceiling pan to provide adjustment of the light assembly with respect to the ceiling pan. The light assembly includes an aiming device which allows the lamp to be adjusted about a vertical axis and about a horizontal axis for adjustment of the lamp. The aiming assembly includes a locking assembly which fixes the position of the aiming assembly to simultaneously prevent rotation about the vertical axis and about the horizontal axis.

Lighting assembly and lamp aiming device

A wall-washer lighting fixture is installed flush with a ceiling surface and directs light horizontally and vertically along adjacent wall surfaces, closely adjacent to the intersection between the ceiling and the wall surfaces in order to reduce to a minimum any shaded area along wall surfaces adjacent the intersection. The lighting fixture includes first lens elements oriented, located and configured for directing light toward first areas of the wall surface, spaced vertically downwardly from the intersection, and a second lens element located vertically lower than the first lens elements and oriented and configured for directing light toward second areas of the wall surface, located between the first areas and the intersection between the ceiling surface and the wall surface, so as to illuminate the wall surface more uniformly while reducing to a minimum any shaded area along the wall surface adjacent the intersection. A method places the first and second lens elements so as to accomplish the aforesaid illumination of the wall surface.

Wall-wash lighting

A filter bag for a pool cleaning device includes a bag structure, formed of nylon mesh material, and a discharge opening, formed by a zipper. The zipper allows for temporary access to the interior chamber of the bag by opening the zipper.

Filter bag

A ligature for affixing a reed to the mouthpiece of a woodwind instrument, primarily saxophones and clarinets. A spiral of non-stretching cord, with a mechanism for defining the spiral's shape and for providing a way of tightening it, extends around the reed and the mouthpiece. The mechanism is suspended and tightened by a vertical bridge and an integral puller assembly. The spiral cord passes through holes in the puller. The puller is raised by way of a tightening nut through a non-resonant bridge all of which tightens the spiral cord to firmly hold the reed to the mouthpiece. The bridge bears down against the mouthpiece which applies force to the bridge's contact points. The tension of each wrap of the spiral is equalized by the forces upon the bridge and the puller's design. The spiral cord is damped from extraneous vibration by use of spacing combs and by way of this self equalizing design.
