A first housing with a polar magnet on a first side. The first housing can include an opening on the first side. A second housing can include a sliding latch. An opposite polar magnet attached to the sliding latch. The polar magnet attracts the opposite polar magnet on the sliding latch to move the sliding latch to a latched position.

A deck supports depressable keys. The keys can be resiliently biased to a raised state. A display panel can be pivotally coupled to the deck for movement between a deployed position and a closed position. A retraction mechanism comprises a retraction frame and a retraction drive. The retraction frame is translatable between a releasing position along the depressable keys to actuate the depressable keys to the raised state and a retracting position moving to move the depressable keys to the retracted state. The retraction drive translates the retraction frame towards the retracting position in response to pivoting of the display panel towards the closed position.

A hinge assembly is disclosed herein. An example includes a first knuckle including a first wall that defines a first cavity and second knuckle including a second wall that defines a second cavity. The example also includes a friction element disposed in both the first cavity defined by the first wall of the first knuckle and the second cavity defined by the second wall of the second knuckle to both rotatably and resistively couple the first knuckle to the second knuckle by application of a force directed toward the first wall and the second wall, the friction element including a third wall that defines a third cavity. Modifications and additions to, as well as other examples of, the hinge assembly are also disclosed herein.

A device and method for treatment of hemorrhoids, in which the devices includes: a housing insertable into the rectum; a tissue port configured to receive a tissue segment containing at least a portion of a hemorrhoidal blood vessel; opposing needle chambers including at least one pair of corresponding needles coupled by a suture in which the pair of corresponding needles are substantially opposite to one another and in an active position substantially aligned with the tissue segment; a needle driver that advances the pair of corresponding needles through the tissue segment to encircle a portion of the hemorrhoidal blood vessel with the suture, thereby ligating the hemorrhoidal blood vessel; and an actuator coupled to at least one of the needle chambers that actuates the needle chambers such that another pair of corresponding needles is in the active position.

Device and method for treatment of hemorrhoids

An improved sensor array for a mobile vehicle. The vehicle includes a centerline parallel to a vehicle velocity vector. The sensor array comprises a first sensor mounted to the mobile vehicle at a maximum lateral distance from the centerline near a first side of mobile vehicle and a second sensor mounted to the mobile vehicle at a maximum lateral distance from the centerline near a second side of the vehicle opposite the first side. The first sensor transmits a forward pointing first beam and the second sensor transmits a forward pointing second beam, both beams for detecting an object in the path of the vehicle. A plurality of first oblique beams are pointed to intersect the first beam and a plurality of second oblique beams are pointed to intersect the second beam. The oblique beams, in conjunction with the first and second beams form zones of overlapping beam coverage for better localization of objects in the path of the vehicle.
