Various embodiments provide a hopper railroad car top hatch cover assembly including a hatch cover and a hatch cover securer configured to secure the hatch cover in a closed position engaging a coaming of the hopper railroad car. Various embodiments provide a hopper railroad car having a top hatch cover assembly including a hatch cover and a hatch cover securer configured to secure the hatch cover in a closed position engaging a coaming of the hopper railroad car.

A cargo cover apparatus configured to selectively enclose a space above an upper surface of a cargo support bed may include at least one bulkhead mountable on the bed toward one said end of the bed, and a cover assembly mountable on the bed in a position between the forward and rearward ends of the bed and toward the at least one bulkhead. The cover assembly has a front end and a rear end, with one of the ends of the cover assembly being orientable toward the at least one bulkhead, and may be extendable and retractable to change a distance between the front end and the rear end of the cover assembly along the longitudinal axis of the bed. The apparatus also include a securing assembly configured to secure one of the ends of the cover assembly to the at least one bulkhead.

Cargo covering apparatus

A cover apparatus for selectively covering the open top of a container may include a pair of tracks for mounting on the sides of the container, a cover movably mounted on the pair of tracks. The cover may include a pair of cover assemblies movable toward each other to produce a closed condition and movable away from each other to produce an open condition. Each of the cover assemblies may be positionable at an end of the container and have a portion movable toward a center of the open top. A cover movement assembly may be configured to move the cover assemblies on the tracks toward each other into the closed condition and away from each other into the open condition.

Cover apparatus for an open top container such as a railcar hopper

A container may comprise a support frame with sides and at least one of the sides being an open side defining an opening, a flexible panel configured to at least partially cover the open side of the support frame, and a panel mounting assembly configured to removably mount the panel over the opening. The panel mounting assembly may comprise at least one panel mounting element including a leverage structure configured to provide a fulcrum edge along at least a portion of the opening, with the at least one portion of the panel being tensionable over the fulcrum edge. The panel mounting element may also comprise a tensioning structure mountable on the leverage structure and configured to selectively apply tension to the at least one portion of the panel with the thicker thickness over the fulcrum edge of the leverage structure.

Enclosed container with removable sides

A wireless controller for operably controlling at least two devices. The wireless controller includes a cover portion, a base portion, a transmission mechanism and a component activation mechanism. The base portion is operably attached to the cover portion. The transmission mechanism and the component activation mechanism are each mounted to at least one of the cover portion and the base portion. The component activation mechanism causes the transmission mechanism to transmit a communication signal to the at least one of the at least two devices. When the cover portion and the base portion are in a closed configuration, the component activation mechanism is substantially covered.

Tarp cover stop

A motorized rolling cover system for covering the top of an open-top vehicle. The system includes a cover, a shaft, a motor assembly, an arm assembly and a motor mount that supports the motor assembly on the arm assembly. The motor mount is pivotally attached to the end of the arm assembly to provide pivotal movement of the mount in a single plane. The plane of pivotal movement is either the same as (i.e., parallel to) the plane defined by the arm and the shaft, or is perpendicular to the arm-shaft plane.

Rolling cover system motor mount

A corrosion resistant electrical system for communicating between a power source and multiple electric devices on a truck box or trailer. A hard plastic junction block with a male connector for power input communicates internally with two or more female connectors for power output, allowing multiple electric motors or other devices to receive electricity from a single power cable. The assembly includes cables with female or male connectors at the ends, the connectors having corresponding projecting portions and passageways, and U-shaped flanges and spaces, that fit together. The space between the projecting portions and the passageways are sealed by a resilient gasket around the projecting portion, and the U-shaped flanges and projecting portions contain aligned apertures to receive a lock pin to secure the mated connectors together.

The cover control system includes a first control component and a second control component. The first control component is mounted with respect to the rail car. The first control component is in communication with the first cover movement mechanism. The second control component is provided proximate to where it is desired to operate the rail car cover system. The second control component is capable of communicating with the first control component.

The first cover section and the second cover section are both movable between a closed configuration and an open configuration. When in the closed configuration, the first cover section and the second cover section substantially cover the opening.
