An interior light assembly for use in a vehicle includes a housing having a light transmission end constructed to pass light out of the housing. A light source is located in the housing and arranged to emit light in a direction to pass out of the light transmission end of the housing. A visor extends from the light transmission end of the housing for blocking light from the light source in directions transverse to the light transmission end of the housing into a passenger compartment of the vehicle. The visor has an end remote from the housing shaped to engage a windshield of the vehicle. The visor may be pivotably mounted on the housing to facilitate flush engagement of the remote visor end with the windshield. The visor can flare outwardly from the housing to the remote end so light can be seen at greater off-angles by persons outside the vehicle.

An automatically closing ambient air device is disclosed having a generally conical passageway, containing an inlet for the flow of fluid from the ambient environment into the passageway and an outlet for the flow of such fluid from the passageway, and having valve means arranged to close fluid flow through the outlet from the passageway which is actuated by buoyant force and/or gravitational force and/or a combination thereof imposed by a weighted element in response to the spacial orientation of the conical wall of the passageway to level.

Ambient air breathing device

The present invention is an improved system and apparatus for providing emergency breathing air upon the failure or disconnect of a primary air source in a hostile environment. The invention comprises a compressed air source interconnected with a primary pressurized system which automatically engages when the primary air system falls below a predefined pressure range and isolates the secondary system from the primary system.
