A compressor may include a shell assembly, orbiting and non-orbiting scrolls, a bearing housing, a bushing, a damper, and a fastener. The bearing housing includes a first aperture. The bushing may include an axial end abutting the bearing housing. The bushing may extend through a second aperture of the non-orbiting scroll. The bushing may include a third aperture. The damper may be received in a pocket that may be defined by and disposed radially between an outer diametrical surface of the bushing and an inner diametrical surface of the non-orbiting scroll. The damper may be at least partially disposed within the second aperture and may encircle the second portion of the bushing. The fastener may include a shaft portion and a flange portion. The shaft portion may extend through the third aperture and into the first aperture. The flange portion may contact a first axial end of the damper.

An insert component for a scroll compressor comprises a polymer and at least one reinforcing or lubricating particle. The insert component comprises an annular body and an axial projection. The annular body defines a first centrally-disposed opening having has a central axis extending therethrough. The annular body has a first side comprising a first contact surface configured to engage a partition plate and a second side a second contact surface configured to engage a floating seal assembly. The first contact surface defines a slope between first and second radial locations. The axial projection extends from the annular body and can be received in a second centrally-disposed opening of the partition plate. The insert component can fluidly seal both a first interface between the first contact surface and the partition plate and a second interface between the second contact surface and a floating seal assembly during operation of the scroll compressor.

A compressor may include a shell, a crankshaft, a piston and a connecting rod. The shell may define a cylinder. The crankshaft is supported for rotation relative to the shell. The piston reciprocates within the cylinder in response to rotation of the crankshaft. The piston and the cylinder define a compression chamber therebetween. The connecting rod includes a first bushing rotatably coupled to the piston and a second bushing rotatably coupled to the crankshaft. The second bushing may include a driving surface contacting the crankshaft and having a recess formed therein. The recess receives an insert.
