An articulating sonobuoy is provided. The articulating sonobuoy comprises a plurality of section, and a plurality of joints connecting each of the plurality of section to adjacent sections, wherein each of the plurality of sections self-aligns by rotating about one or more of said plurality of joints changing the shape of the buoy from a stowed configuration to a streamlined deployed configuration.

Station keeping maneuverable articulating autonomous regenerative tactical (SMAART) buoy

A vessel that varies its draft by adopting any one of three primary hull forms or configurations is disclosed. The primary hull forms include: a catamaran configuration, a barge configuration, and a SWATH configuration. The vessel is capable of reconfiguring between these hull forms while underway. Reconfiguration is accomplished by vertical movement of a center hull and/or at least one of two side-hull members.

Variable-draft vessel

A ship-to-shore interface includes a shipside ramp and a shoreside ramp. The shoreside ramp is securely fixed to the shoreline. The shoreside ramp has one or more physical adaptations that enable it to passively engage the shipside ramp. In the illustrative embodiment, the physical adaptation is a plurality of recesses that receive a lug that depends from the shoreside end of the shipside ramp.
