A system to provide end users with recommendations on improving the quality of the incident management process is provided. A computer device identifies a set of historical incident reports, wherein the historical incident reports identify: (i) incident tickets, (ii) one or more skills associated with personnel assigned to the incident tickets, and (iii) whether the incident tickets were resolved within threshold periods of time to resolve. The computing device trains a machine learning model to predict sets of skills associated with resolving incident tickets within the threshold periods of time to resolve based, at least in part, on the identified set of historical incident reports. The computing device assigns a set of personnel to the new incident ticket based, at least in part, on the predicted set of skills associated with resolving the new incident ticket within the threshold period of time to resolve.

Identification of incident required resolution time

A method of identifying an incident root cause probability that includes identifying, using a monitoring system, a first incident/incident class and generating, using a change management application, a first change request and change class. The method also includes generating, from the change management application, a second change request from a second incident, and where the first and second incidents are in a set of incidents, and where the first and second change requests are in a set of changes, mapping, by a cause analysis application, the set of incidents to the set of changes to identify a root cause probability, where the probability is formed by from a Galois linkage chain between the two sets, and developing, from the cause analysis application, a root cause probability value of the first incident, and executing, using a parameter management application, a mitigation process.

A method includes obtaining, by one or more processor, data related to a service level agreement for a service from a provider, wherein the service includes providing, to a client, network resources from a shared pool of network resources in a computing environment. The one or more processor utilizes the data to generate input parameters and these input parameters include target parameters for the service level agreement, penalty parameters for the service level agreement, and statistical process control parameters. The one or more processor analyzes the input parameters to model risk associated with probability of failure of the service from the provider in a given computing environment and generates and based on the risk model, allocating, by the one or more processor, a portion of the network resources.

Predictive modeling of risk for services in a computing environment

A modular fluid unit for cooling heat sources located on a rack, the modular fluid unit comprising: a heat exchanger in fluid communication a pump; and wherein the modular fluid unit is mountable within the rack and is configurable to be in fluid communication with a cold plate return manifold, a cold plate supply manifold, and an end-user fluid supply. A method for cooling electronic components in a rack, the method comprising: circulating a first liquid from a cold plate to one of a plurality of heat exchangers mounted within the rack; circulating a second liquid from a second liquid supply to the one of a plurality of heat exchangers; and transferring heat from the first liquid to the second liquid at the one of a plurality of heat exchangers.

Method and apparatus for cooling electronic components

A power supply to be tested is placed in a vacuum chamber; the power supply is turned on and gas pressure in the chamber is reduced. As the gas pressure is reduced below 1 atmosphere, the breakdown voltage decreases; when the breakdown voltage decreases to the value of the applied voltage, arcing occurs as long as the applied voltage is greater than a minima. When a site arcs, the site is noted; the power supply is removed from the vacuum chamber; the arc site is conformally coated and the coated cured. Thereafter, the power supply is returned to the vacuum chamber and the test process repeated until the power supply no longer arcs. Thus the partial pressure test can identify the sites that have a possibility of arcing in the field and the design of the power supply modified by use of one or more conformal coatings or by otherwise changing the configuration of the power supply.

Prevention of arcing in power supplies

An exemplary embodiment is a fixture for securing hard stops to a substrate. The fixture has a base which provides support to the fixture. The base has a cavity configured for nestably supporting a substrate. A top plate is mounted on the base, the top plate is configured for mounting the substrate. An alignment plate is disposed on the top plate separate from the base. An adjusting plunger assembly is coupled to the base. The adjusting plunger assembly is configured for use with attaching a hard stop to the substrate. A plunger is coupled to the base substantially perpendicular to the adjusting plunger assembly. The plunger is configured for use with supporting the substrate. A method of using a fixture is disclosed comprising disposing a substrate in a base of the fixture and mounting a hard stop to the substrate. An adhesive is disposed between the hard stop and the substrate. The substrate is mounted between a plunger and a top plate. The hard stop on the substrate is aligned with an alignment plate. An adjusting plunger assembly is adjusted to mount the hard stop to the substrate.

Fixture for securing hard stops to a substrate

A semiconductor device, full bridge converter employing the same, and methods of fabrication thereof are provided. The device includes a vertical MOSFET having a parasitic body diode at a junction face between a body region and a semiconductor layer thereof. The parasitic body diode is suppressed by having no direct electrical connection to the body region, resulting in the parasitic body diode being open-circuited within the MOSFET. Co-packaged with the MOSFET is a separate bypass diode connected across a source and a drain of the MOSFET. The bypass diode functions to clamp the voltage across the MOSFET without employing the parasitic, electrically isolated body diode of the MOSFET.

A method of use and apparatus for a quick connect coupling in a fluid system as disclosed herein. The quick connect coupling includes a female coupling assembly and a male coupling assembly. The female coupling assembly includes a female cone housing nestable with a female cone. At least one female flow hole is formed in each of the female cone housing and female cone. The male coupling assembly has a male cone housing nestable with a male cone. At least one male flow hole is formed in each of the male cone housing, and the male cone. The at least one female flow hole rotatably misaligns to seal in a manner that fluid is contained from leaking past the female coupling assembly. The at least one male flow hole rotatably misaligns to seal in a manner that fluid is contained from leaking past the male coupling assembly. The male coupling assembly is removably rotatably insertable into the female cone. The female coupling assembly and the male coupling assembly rotatably fluidly couple to create a fluid flow path through the quick connect coupling. The female coupling assembly and the male coupling assembly rotatably fluidly uncouple, thereby sealing the fluid flow path through the quick connect coupling. The male coupling assembly and the female coupling assembly are removably uncoupleable.
