An infant support pad assembly has a body of resilient material, a generally planar bottom surface and a top surface that is inclined relative to the bottom surface between a proximal end and a distal end of the body such that the infant is in an inclined position when placed on the body. The top surface has an opening in a distal portion of the body and curved surface configured to receive and support at least a portion of an infant's head. The support pad assembly also has a pair of raised side members on either side of the top surface configured to generally maintain the infant on the body and inhibit movement of the infant out of the body. The support pad assembly also has an outer padding to at least partially surround the body to generally maintain the infant on the body.

A rocker for supporting an infant or other item includes a carrier assembly and a support assembly. The carrier assembly has a support platform. The support assembly is disposed below the carrier assembly is operable to selectively impart motion to the carrier assembly in a plurality of different motion patterns. The motion patterns can include one or more of translation along a first linear direction, translation along a second linear direction perpendicular to the first linear direction, yaw relative to a first axis, pitch relative to a second axis that is perpendicular to the first axis, roll about a third axis that is perpendicular to the first and second axes, and elevation changes relative to the support assembly.

An assembly for supporting an infant (e.g., newborn baby) includes a fabric body defining a pocket between an upper layer and a lower layer of the body at one end of the fabric body, the pocket accessible via an opening selectively closeable to seal the pocket. A neck, spine and spinal cord support device of a semi-rigid material is removably insertable in the pocket of the fabric body by the pocket so as to maintain the support device in a substantially fixed position within the fabric body. The support device supports the head, neck, spine and spinal cord of a newborn baby or infant when the infant is on the fabric body to inhibit injury to the infant's head, neck, spine and spinal cord. The fabric body can be a swaddle blanket and/or sleeve.

A blanket assembly for swaddling an infant (e.g., newborn baby) includes a blanket body defining a pocket between an upper layer and a lower layer of the body at one end of the blanket body, the pocket accessible via an opening selectively closeable to seal the pocket. A neck, spine and spinal cord support device of a semi-rigid material is removably insertable in the pocket of the blanket body and secured within the blanket by the pocket so as to maintain the support device in a substantially fixed position within the blanket body. The support device supports the head, neck, spine and spinal cord of a newborn baby or infant when the infant is laid on the blanket body in a supine position and wrapped in the blanket body, so as to inhibit injury to the infant's head, neck, spine and spinal cord while carried by a person.

A protective overlay is provided for preventing scratching or chipping of the crystal of a wristwatch, while permitting visual determination of the time of day. The overlay comprises a circular disk of a transparent high static vinyl sheet material adapted for stick-on attachment to a glass or plastic watch crystal without use of an adhesive. The exposed or front side of the disk bears selected decorative ornamentation and is covered by a transparent surface layer which seals the ornamentation against smudging and the like.
