A tool is configured for molding a duct for an aircraft turbine engine, wherein the duct is made of a fiber-based composite material and includes a curved tubular portion, one end of which is connected to a peripheral flange. The tool has a base and a generally elongate and curved body. The body is formed by an assembly of first parts which are fitted tightly together and which include a first central release key which extends from one end of the body to the other and which is configured to be removed first upon release of the body.

Tool and method for molding a duct for an aircraft turbine engine

A silicon heating mat, the mat being formable and deformable and including a matrix made of elastic material, in which at least one cavity is arranged that fully passes through the matrix, the at least one cavity being intended to accommodate a resistive filament connected to a heating cycles management unit. Furthermore, the at least one cavity has an undulating layout, with each resistive filament being able to move inside said at least one cavity, and each resistive filament having a zigzag or spiral shape.

Deformable and formable heating mat

A method for assembling a body and a cover of a vane by polymerisation of a resin. The covens positioned on a junction face of the body covered with this resin. A sheet is placed against a pressure side of the vane, formed by an outer face of the cover and an outer face of the body, so as to define a space sealed with a bead of mastic sealant. The bead of mastic sealant is deposited on the outer face of the body, around the junction face of this body. The space between the sheet and the pressure side of the vane is placed under vacuum during a heating operation of the vane in an autoclave, in order to press the cover against the body of the vane.

A method of assembling a member and a cap of a vane using a tool which allows the application of a pressing force of the cap against the member during a step of polymerisation by heating a resin for bonding these components. To this end, the tool includes an inflatable bladder and a pocket which surrounds the bladder and the vane so that the inflated bladder applies the pressing force. The heating can be carried out by resistors which are mounted in the bladder and/or using a device for supplying external heat.

A weaving installation includes a loom that receives a series of strands, and at least one device for measuring the diameter of a strand having a defined number of filaments. The device includes a diaphragm having an external ring forming a support on which a series of strips forming an iris are fixed. The strips are movable and allow a substantially circular space with variable dimensions to be defined at the center of the iris. The diaphragm is configured to adjust the dimensions of the space so as to allow a strand of the loom to pass through it, and to encircle the profile of the strand so as to allow the number of filaments in the strand to be determined.
