A make up station provides even illumination for a performer's face while minimizing glare and distracting reflections. The make up station is modular to allow the easy assembly of multiple make up stations partially sharing common lighting between adjacent stations. Light rays emanating from the forward most edge of a light source are blocked by a raised trim or reflected from the mirror surface in a direction so that they do not impinge on the user's eye.

Make up station

An interface for connecting supporting members of an audience seating system including an end plate secured to the first end of a horizontal member. The end plate includes a downwardly extending tongue and outwardly extending tabs and a hook member extending outwardly and downwardly. The upper end of the vertical member has a recess dimensioned to receive the hook member and a hanger bracket defining a space for receiving the tongue and openings for receiving the tabs. The horizontal member may be engaged to the vertical member by lowering the hook member into the recess, the tongue into the space and the tabs into the openings to create a substantially rigid engagement secured by gravity.

Audience seating system

An audience seating system including at least two platforms having a leg receiver at their rear margin and a leg supporting a protrusion engageable into a recess in the leg receiver and lockable by moving the leg from a non vertical orientation to a generally vertical orientation.

An audience seating system of the present invention takes a modular approach to creating a wide variety of seating options. The system utilizes a variety of standardized parts that can be assembled in a flexible variety of configurations. The system generally utilizes a plurality of columns, trusses, end frames, and platforms. The major parts of the system are assembled and secured together by readily removable pins to create a flexible and secure seating system. A large part of the system is held together by gravity further simplifying installation and disassembly. By varying the size of the components, the rise and run of the system may be adjusted as desired.
