A connector closure for fiber optical cables includes a base portion having first and second compartments. One of the first and second compartments is designed to have a cover or door that allow selective access, while the other compartment signed for only authorized access. The connector closure features universal mounting arrangements, e.g., aerial, surface/wall, pedestal, or vault arrangements. Further, the closure may incorporate a splice enclosure.

A fiber optic closure assembly includes a base having an opening for receiving an incoming fiber optic cable along a longitudinal axis. A perimeter shoulder extending outwardly from a substantially planar surface of the base. A housing is dimensioned for receipt on the base and has a cover that when joined to the base encloses a cavity. The housing includes a substantially planar wall with at least one opening therethrough parallel to the longitudinal axis and through which an associated bulkhead may be mounted to provide operative communication between an optical fiber operatively connected to the incoming fiber optic cable and an outgoing drop line.

A fiber optic cable assembly or termination system is preconnectorized and may include different combinations of collars, crimp bands, and clamp assemblies to improve functionality of the arrangement.

Telecommunications mounting case includes an enclosure containing a mounting plate having a grid pattern of crisscrossing horizontal and vertical slots or grooves extending partway through the mounting plate. The crisscrossing slots or grooves have a substantially uniform spacing therebetween in increments of the spacing between screw mounts on respective vertical and horizontal telecommunications devices mountable within the case. Each of the slots or grooves has substantially uniformly spaced apart side walls with a spacing therebetween that is somewhat less than the thread diameters of a range of different sized mounting screws used to attach the telecommunications devices to the mounting plate to enable the mounting screws to bite into the side walls when started by hand.

Exterior raceway system includes one or more elongated base members and associated cover members for concealing and protecting one or more cables against the weather when mounted on an exterior wall structure of a building. The cover members are removably attachable to the base members to facilitate mounting of the base members to the exterior wall structure and the attachment of one or more cables to the base member prior to attaching the cover members to the respective base members.

A cable molding primarily intended to be installed on a wall structure of a common hallway of a multiple dwelling unit below pre-existing molding, and an overlay molding attachable to the cable molding to conceal both the cable molding and the pre-existing molding. The overlay molding includes a panel member having upper and lower edges and a flange extending rearwardly from the panel member intermediate the upper and lower edges. The flange defines with a lower portion of the panel member a lower channel shaped for attachment to the cable member, and defines with an upper portion of the panel member an upper channel for receiving pre-existing molding.

Slack cable storage box includes a base and a cover removably attachable to the base to provide an enclosure for a slack cable storage spool that may be part of the cover or removably attached to the base. The outer end face of the cover may be recessed for receipt of one or more interchangeable decorative faceplates.

Slack cable storage box includes at least one slack cable storage spool that is mountable at different heights within the box. Alternatively at least two such spools may be mounted in axial alignment with one on top of the other within the box depending on the particular need and the desired amount of slack cable to be stored within the box.

A free-standing coffee-maker assembly including a brewing basket that is seated on a decanter, a paper filter having a flat base being nested within the basket. Boiling water from a reservoir seated on the basket is sprayed over a bed of ground coffee lying over the flat base of the filter, the water percolating through the bed to produce a coffee extract which is discharged through a central opening in the bottom of the basket into the decanter. The bottom of the basket is provided with a depressed region surrounding the central opening to define a well and an annular inactive zone concentric therewith. The well is provided with upstanding ribs to maintain a space between the base of the filter and the well, whereby the coffee extract is free to flow through the filter base only in the region thereof overlying the well. This restriction in the filtering action renders the assembly effective throughout a broad operating range so that the same assembly and same sized filter may be used to brew a large amount of beverage or a much smaller amount.
