A atomizer assembly for a vaporizer cartridge is provided. The vaporizer cartridge may include a reservoir containing vaporizable material and a wicking element in fluid communication with the reservoir. The atomizer assembly includes a heating element and a wick housing. The heating element may include a heating portion, a cartridge contact, and a leg. The heating portion includes at least two tines spaced apart from one another. The cartridge contact may be in in electrical communication with a power source. The wick housing includes an outer wall defining an interior volume configured to receive a portion of the heating element and the wicking element.

Vaporizer cartridges and vaporizer apparatuses, and methods for making, using and delivering vapor to a user, that are leak-resistant for use with cannabinoids. In particular, described herein are leak-resistant vaporizer cartridges and apparatuses adapted for use with oil-based vaporizable materials includingoils.

Vaporization devices, components, and methods of operating the same are described. In some implementations, an apparatus includes a cartridge comprising an aerosol outlet, a fluid storage compartment, a resistive heating element, and first and second cartridge electrical contacts, and a device body comprising a power supply, a receptacle, first and second device electrical contacts, and a controller. When the receptacle at least partially receives the cartridge in two different orientations, the first and second device electrical contacts are configured to couple the first and second cartridge electrical contacts, and the controller is configured to provide power from the power supply to the resistive heating element.

A vaporization device includes a cartridge for a vaporizer device. Vaporization devices, components, and methods of operating them are provided. In some implementations, the vaporization device for use with a vaporizable material includes a device body, a power source, a microcontroller, a measurement circuit, and a microcontroller. The measurement circuit is configured to measure a resistance of a resistive heater. The microcontroller is configured to determine a baseline resistance based on the measured resistance, the measured resistance being measured after a period of time has passed since power from the power source was last applied to the resistive heater; determine a target resistance of the resistive heater based on the determined baseline resistance; and provide power from the power source to the resistive heater to heat the vaporizable material based at least in part on the target resistance.

Vaporization device control systems and methods

A vaporizer device includes a cartridge having a reservoir that holds a vaporizable material and an atomizer chamber that includes a heating element. The heating element can heat the vaporizable material. The heating element can include two rigid portions that are spaced apart by a span that defines a capillary gap. The capillary gap can draw the vaporizable material from the reservoir to a heater region to be vaporized.
