Provided is a contactless connector that includes an antenna system and a wireless transceiver coupled to the antenna system and configured to simultaneously transmit a transmission signal and receive a received signal through the antenna system. The wireless transceiver includes a transformer, a wide-band phase shifter and a combiner. The transformer has a primary coil with a center tap to which the transmission signal is coupled and a first end that is coupled to the antenna system. The transmission signal also is coupled to an input of the wide-band phase shifter. The transformer also has a secondary coil, an output of the secondary coil is coupled to a first input of the combiner, an output of the wide-band phase shifter is coupled to a second input of a combiner, and an output of the combiner provides a self-interference-canceled version of the received signal.

Various embodiments relate to an amplitude shift keying (ASK) demodulator for demodulating an input signal, including: a frequency filter configured to receive the input signal, wherein the frequency filter includes adjustable components configured to adjust the frequency response of the frequency filter; a rectifier configured to rectify an output of the frequency filter, wherein the rectifier includes an adjustable current source configured to adjust the current consumption of the rectifier; a reference signal generator configured to produce a reference signal; a current to voltage converter configured to convert the current of the rectified signal to a rectified voltage and to convert the current of the reference signal to a reference voltage; and a comparator configured to compare the rectified voltage to the reference voltage and to produce a demodulated output signal.

An active shielding device and method for active shielding are disclosed. The active shielding device includes current sources configured to generate currents, an analog wire shield unit connected to the current sources, a current to voltage converter connected to the analog wire shield unit and configured to generate a voltage in response to the currents that are generated by the current sources, and a voltage comparator connected to the current to voltage converter and configured to compare the voltage that is generated by the current to voltage converters with a reference voltage.

Active shielding device and method of active shielding

A power source switching circuit is disclosed. The power source switching circuit includes a voltage regulator, a first transistor and a second transistor. The first transistor is coupled with a first voltage source and the second transistor is coupled with a second voltage source. The voltage regulator includes a resistor, one or more diodes coupled together in series and a capacitor. Terminals of the capacitor are coupled between a gate and a source of the first transistor through a first switch and a second switch respectively. The capacitor is configured to hold charge to switch the first transistor on. A value of the capacitor is smaller than a gate to source capacitance of the first transistor.

Embodiments of an active shielding device and method for active shielding are disclosed. In an embodiment, an active shielding device includes current sources configured to generate currents, an analog wire shield unit connected to the current sources, switches connected between the current sources and the analog wire shield unit, a current to voltage converter connected to the analog wire shield unit and configured to generate a voltage in response to the currents that are generated by the current sources and a digital control sequence for the switches, a voltage comparator connected to the current to voltage converter and configured to compare the voltage that is generated by the current to voltage converters with a reference voltage, a digital active shielding unit connected to the current sources, digital logics configured to process the digital control sequence before conducting the digital control sequence through the digital active shielding unit and after conducting the digital control sequence through the digital active shielding unit to generate a first processing result signal and a second result signal, and a digital comparator configured to compare the first processing result signal with the second result signal.

A signal generator includes a data source, a power source, and a modulator. The modulator is configured to modulate a power signal from the power source with a data signal from the data source to generate a modulated power signal. Data values of the data signal correspond to variations in a voltage level of the modulated power signal over time. The modulator is coupled to output the modulated data signal to a one-wire interface.

System and method for communicating over a single-wire transmission line

Embodiments of a method and a device are disclosed. In an embodiment, an electronic device includes a plurality of input ports configured to receive at least two serial communication signals, an encoder circuit configured to encode the at least two serial communication signals based on signal edges of the at least two serial communication signals to generate an encoded serial communication signal, the encoded serial communication signal enabling reconstruction of the at least two serial communication signals independent of a clock signal, and a transmitter configured to transmit the encoded serial communication signal.
