A cold shrink article including a fluoroelastomer composition comprising a first fluoroterpolymer having a weight average molecular weight centered from about 10to about 10. A second fluoroterpolymer included in the fluoroelastomer composition has a weight average molecular weight centered at 10. The first fluoroterpolymer combines with the second fluoroterpolymer to provide a mixed terpolymer. Other components of the fluoroelastomer composition include a processing aid, a filler, an oil, and a curative. The fluoroelastomer composition upon curing at an elevated temperature provides the cold shrink article that has a permanent set value of 21% or less.

A heat-resistant anti-static pressure-sensitive adhesive tape comprising a substrate having coated thereon an acrylic microparticulate adhesive having an average diameter of at least about 1 micrometer, wherein the microparticles have a surface bearing thereon a conductive material formed from a polymer electrolyte base polymer, and at least one ionic salt selected from the group consisting of salts of alkali metals and salts of alkaline earth metals, and at least one thermal stabilizer selected from the group consisting of hindered amines, salts of substituted toluimidazoles, and mixtures thereof, said substituted toluimidazoles having the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, a methyl group, an ethyl group and a propyl group, R.sub.2 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, a methyl group and an ethyl group, M is a metal, and x is an integer selected from 1 or 2 with positive or negative identity being dependent on the valence of the metal, said adhesive being adhered to said substrate by means of a primer, said primer comprising at least one phenolic resin, at least one rubbery compound, and at least one of said thermal stabilizers, said adhesive tape being capable of surviving immersion in molten solder at 260.degree. C. for at least about 5 seconds.

High temperature resistant antistatic pressure-sensitive adhesive tape

A latex antistatic adhesive comprising an emulsion of polymerized microdrops dispersed in an aqueous medium, having an average diameter less than about 0.1 .mu.m, and a glass transition temperature (Tg) of from about -120.degree. C. to about 25.degree. C., wherein the polymerized microdrops are derived from emulsion microdrops of reactive monomers, said adhesive including at least one (meth)acrylic monomer, at least one polar monomer, at least one reactive oligomer and at least 1% of a lithium salt.

Antistatic latex adhesives

A heat-resistant anti-static pressure-sensitive adhesive tape comprising a substrate having coated thereon an acrylic microparticulate adhesive having an average diameter of at least about 1 micrometer, wherein the microparticles have a surface bearing thereon a conductive material formed from a polymer electrolyte base polymer, and at least one ionic salt selected from the group consisting of salts of alkali metals and salts of alkaline earth metals, said adhesive being adhered to said substrate by means of a primer, said primer comprising at least one phenolic resin and at least one rubbery compound, said adhesive tape being capable of surviving immersion in molten solder for at least about 5 seconds.

A water-resistant, anti-static pressure-sensitive adhesive tape suitable for use as a wafer dicing tape comprising a flexible substrate having opposing surfaces, at least one surface bearing thereon a removable, aziridine-crosslinked microparticulate adhesive comprised of microparticles having a surface bearing thereon an ionic conductive material formed from a polymer electrolyte base polymer, and at least one ionic salt selected from the group consisting of salts of alkali metals and salts of alkaline earth metals, wherein said microparticles have an average diameter of at least about 1 micrometer, said adhesive having an adhesion to steel of from about 0.5 Newtons/100 mm (N/100 mm) to about 10 N/100 mm.

Pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes for electronics applications

Compositions and a process for manufacturing an elastomeric, low modulus pre-stretched tubular article supported by a removable core. The article has a low Shore A hardness value and a low modulus which allows a large expansion ratio and an increased wall thickness.
