A Combination Electronic and Paper Ballot Voting System with electronic vote capture capability for automatically recording, tallying, and storing votes. Election headquarters computer software () combines voter data from precinct computers () and produces tallies. Precinct computers () use software () for vote data collection from electronic readers () that interface with precinct computers () via cables () through a system controller () that is a hub for connecting readers () with precinct computers (). A voter places configured paper ballot () on reader () and marks choices on ballot () using a combination electronic and ink-marking stylus (). An XY coordinate positioning device (), inside reader () and underneath ballot placement area, electronically captures voter choices. Voter data are instantly transferred to precinct computers (). Precinct computer software () tallies voter data, configures report and storage formats, and communicates results to headquarters computer (). Permanently marked paper ballot () is retained as a definitive record of voter intent.

Combination electronic and paper ballot voting system

This vehicle security device (,) is a metal plate (,) bolted to a door handle unit inside a vehicle door to prevent unauthorized unlocking of a vehicle door by jamming a thin tool into a vehicle door. And, device (,) prevents unauthorized unlocking of a vehicle door by inserting a thin tool between the seam between the window glass and the flexible molding around a door window frame of a vehicle door. When installed, the device (,) blocks access to the inner end of a lock cylinder (,) by preventing the insertion of thin tools directly to the inner end of the lock cylinder (,). This device (,) is comprised of a configured metal plate (,), angled on its upper end to extend horizontally toward the inside of a vehicle door; one or more bolts (,); one or more spacers (,); and one or more lock washers (,). The metal plate (,) has a rectangular-shaped cut out (,) to accommodate placement adjacent to the key-turnable inner end of a door lock cylinder (,). Metal plate (,) is secured in place by one or more bolts (,) which extend through preformed holes (,) in plate (,).

Vehicle security device

A lens case for storing and transporting a photographic lens in a substantially environmentally sealed condition, the case including a tubular body portion bonded to an open end-encompassing base. Positioned interiorly of and disposed in spaced relation from the body is a tubular liner covered by a felt-like padding material. A foamed, resilient secondary shock-absorbing liner is usually provided interiorly of the liner and covering the bottom. The exterior of the body portion and its mated end are covered with leather or the like. A cover member is configured similar to the bottom portion and is also interiorly padded and exteriorly covered. Strap-type hinge means, including a belt loop, connects the body to the cover. Strap-type latch means is affixed to the top and adapted for latching to the body. Carrying strap attachment loops are also provided on the sides of the body.
