A multi-site injection system includes a plurality of medicament delivering needles/microprotrusions, a needle/microprotrusion support, a supply of medicament, and a mechanism for providing the medicament to the plurality of needles/microprotrusions in order to effect delivery into a stratum corneum of a user.

Multi-site injection system

A multi-site injection system () in accordance with the present invention generally includes a plurality of medicament delivering needles/microprotrusions () along with a support therefore. A supply of medicament () is provided and a means provided for supplying the medicament to the plurality of needles/microprotrusions in order to effect delivery into a stratum corneum () of a user.

A sterile, compact packaging is provided to present components in order of preferred or required use in a medical procedure. Pockets are arranged along one or more end sections of the packaging, and an absorbent material is at least partially adhered to the moisture proof sheet at a workspace thereon. Components are placed in the pockets in order of use, and the packaging is folded up. The folded packaging is sealed in a gas-permeable pouch, which maintains the components in a sterile condition until use. In use, the packaging is unfolded to expose the medical components.

Flexible medical supplies packaging for convenience kits

A controlled volume injection/aspiration device includes a syringe having a body for containing a medicament, a needle and a piston slidably disposed within the body. A shell is provided for receiving the syringe body and a plunger rack is disposed within the shell. A manually operated control is disposed in an operative relationship with the plunger rack for moving the plunger rack in a stepwise forward direction causing the piston to eject discrete doses of medication from the syringe body through the needle. The manual operated control is also operative for moving the piston in a stepwise reverse direction causing the piston to aspirate fluid into the syringe body through the needle.

A device for applying a liquid to the hair of an individual, the device comprising a comb member and a container, wherein: the comb member has an elongate tubular main body with opposed axial ends and a longitudinal axis extending between the ends, the main body encloses a longitudinal passage which extends along the longitudinal axis, is open at one of the axial ends and is closed at the other one of the axial ends, and the longitudinal passage includes means at the one axial end for receiving the container, and a plurality of elongate teeth carried by the tubular main body and extending parallel to one another from the main body in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis, each of the teeth having a base connected to the main body, a tip remote from the base, and a linear passage extending in a straight line from the base to the tip, the linear passage being open at the base to communicate with the longitudinal passage in the main body and being open at the tip, each of the teeth having a frustoconic form which tapers from the base to the tip and the linear passage in each of the teeth having a frustoconic form which is at least approximately congruent with that of the associated one of the teeth, and the container: has an open end insertable into the means for receiving the container; is filled with a mass of liquid to be applied to the hair; and is made entirely of a flexible material which allows any portion of the container to be squeezed in order to force the liquid through the longitudinal passage and the linear passages and out of the linear passages at the tips of the teeth.
