An ear tip device for padding an in-ear headphone includes a cylinder, which comprises silicone and viscoelastic polyurethane foam so that the cylinder is resiliently compressible. A channel is axially positioned in and extends through the cylinder. The channel is configured to expand to allow insertion of a headphone and to contract to couple the cylinder to the headphone. The cylinder is configured to be compressed between digits of a hand of a user, positioning the user to at least partially insert the cylinder into an ear canal of the user. The cylinder is positioned to expand to conform to the ear canal and to couple the cylinder to the ear. The cylinder is configured to attenuate ambient noise and to direct a sound transmitted by the headphone to an eardrum of the user.

Ear tip device

An oxidative breaker system for use in reducing the viscosity of a polysaccharide-based or derivatized polysaccharide-based suspension includes a silicone carrier fluid, an oxidizer, and a suspension aid. The suspension aid is preferably fumed silica. The oxidizer may be selected from the group consisting of alkali metal peroxide, transition metal peroxide, persulfate compound, bromide compound, and bromate compound. In highly preferred embodiments, the oxidizer is magnesium peroxide or calcium peroxide. Alternative carrier fluids and suspension agents are also included in the art. Also disclosed is a method for breaking a polysaccharide-based suspension with the inventive oxidative breaker system.

Oxidative breakers in a silicone based suspension

The present invention is a method and system for determining the range of an RFID tag from an origin using radio-frequency identification ('RFID') tags. An RFID tag with a unique numerical identifier is secured to an object. The RFID tag transmits its unique numerical identifier using RF signals, wherein the numerical identifier further comprises an array of extensions. The strength of each of the RF signals corresponds to an extension of the array of extensions. A receiver reads the RF signals and determines the unique numerical identifier and extensions being transmitted. An information processor interconnected with the receiver analyzes the unique numerical identifier and extensions from a predetermined index, and the information processor determines the range of the identity and range of the RFID tag from an origin.

RFID multiple range method and system

The present invention is a mobile method and system for automatically monitoring the location and use of tools using radio-frequency identification ('RFID') tags. An RFID tag is secured to each tool with a unique numerical identifier. The RFID tag transmits its unique numerical identifier associated with each of the RFID tags using a RF signal, wherein the RF signal is transmitted at different intervals for each of the RFID tags. A receiver on a mobile platform reads the RF signals and determines the unique numerical identifier being transmitted. An information processor interconnected with the receiver analyzes the unique numerical identifier from a predetermined index, and the information processor determines whether any tools were not found on the index and automatically alerts a user when a tool is missing.

Mobile RFID management method and system

A location marker according to this invention includes a housing that has a top surface and a bottom surface. A pot magnet is secured in the housing. The pot magnet includes a magnet that has a single magnetic pole surface and is positioned in a case component. The pot magnet is positioned in the marker housing so that the magnetic pole surface is in opposition to the bottom surface of the marker housing.

Location marker

The present invention relates to a valve lock for blocking access to a valve mounted in an access pipe. The valve lock includes a key housing and a key for actuating a valve lock mechanism. The key housing has a diameter less than the inner diameter of the access pipe. The valve lock mechanism includes semi-cylindrical closure wedges having inclined surfaces that are engaged by wedges. The valve lock mechanism is activated by reducing the distances between the wedges forcing the closure wedges radially outwardly so that the outer semi-cylindrical surface of the closure wedges engage the inner wall surface of the access pipe.
