An athletic pant that includes an area of compressive fabric disposed in a position on either pant leg that will surround the athlete's knee when the pants are worn. The area of compressive fabric in each pant leg also includes a pair of pockets positioned to lie on either side of the athlete's knee. The pockets can be opened to receive a support and closed to secure the support therein, whereby the support restricts lateral movement of the athlete's knee. If the athletic pants are to be used for ice hockey, the pants may also include connectors disposed on the outer surface of the pant legs for the connection of hockey socks.

A lacelock for a lacrosse stick head generally comprising a mechanical device affixed to a lacrosse head frame which interacts with one or more of the thongs and/or netting materials of the lacrosse head to securely hold the thongs or netting materials at a desired tension and to enable a person to readily release and adjust the tension of the thongs and/or netting materials as desired and relock into place.

A women's lacrosse stick head generally comprising a frame and netting wherein the frame comprises a throat portion, sidewalls diverging from the throat portion, and a lip portion joining the sidewalls distal from the throat portion, wherein the sidewalls have a bottom edge provided with a plurality of concavities and apices, including a notchback area proximate to the throat portion to create a pocket, yet enabling a lacrosse ball to clear the top edge of the sidewalls.
