This invention is directed toward an adjustable window for a garage door panel, where the window has an interior frame and an exterior frame. Both the interior and exterior frame have straight members that are secured to each other through the parts of the garage door that surround the opening with screws and screw receptacles. Connecting the frame members are adjustable corner braces that come in a variety of designs, with some being invisible after installation and others forming a decorative 'corner' to the window.

In a pumping system, a PEEK composite material may be applied to wear areas on internal components. Typically, the internal component provides a metallic substrate which is prepared with a metallic bonding layer arc sprayed onto its surface, at least at the wear area. A powderized PEEK composite material is heated and propelled against the substrate and bonding layer by a high velocity oxy fuel technique. This uniformly coats the substrate providing a durable wear surface for prolonging component life.

Submergible pumping system with thermal sprayed polymeric wear surfaces

A system for producing production fluids from a wellbore while removing gas that collects in pockets within the wellbore. The system includes an electric submergible pumping unit. The unit includes a submergible pump powered by a submergible motor. The fluid discharged by the pump is forced through a pressure reduction device, such as a jet pump, to create a low pressure area. This low pressure area is coupled via a conduit to a gas pocket creation area within the wellbore. For example, gas pockets may develop beneath a packer disposed above the electric submergible pumping system. The low pressure area at the pressure reduction device draws the gas into the discharged production fluid and delivers the mixture to a collection at the earth's surface.

System and method of utilizing an electric submergible pumping system in the production of high gas to liquid ratio fluids

A production pump for lifting subterranean fluids to the surface of the earth. The production pump is formed from a housing having a pumping unit disposed within the housing. The housing further has a first end defining a first chamber that provides a fluid intake for the pump unit. The housing further has a second end defining a second chamber that provides a fluid outlet for the pump unit. Additionally, the pump includes a conduit that extends from the second end of the housing into the first chamber to provide fluid to the first chamber.

Production pump for use with a downhole pumping system

A connection module is disclosed for a submergible pumping system of the type including a submergible electric motor and a pump drivingly coupled to the motor. The system may also include additional components such as a fluid separators, an injection pump, and so forth. The connection module includes a body through which a fluid passage is formed. A recess is formed in the body for receiving a cable for transmitting power to the submergible electric motor. The fluid passage transfers fluid within the pumping system, such as by means of shrouds disposed around the system components. The connection module also includes an electrical connector for completing current carrying paths between a supply cable and the motor. The connection module may thus serve as the motor head in which the electrical connections are made, but through which fluid is channeled to system components. The module is particularly useful for connecting a shroud around the motor, while accommodating the power cable entry at an end of the motor.

A fluid separation system is disclosed for installation within a wellbore that penetrates a production formation and a discharge formation. The system comprises a first pump and a second pump each operatively connected to a means for operation, such as a downhole electric motor, and a fluid separator for separating wellbore fluids from the production formation into a first stream and a lighter second stream. Wellbore fluids are introduced into the first pump, and are then conveyed to an inlet of the fluid separator. The second stream exiting the fluid separator is conveyed to an inlet of the second pump, and from the second pump to the earth's surface. Devices are included, such as wellbore packers, to isolate the discharge formation from the production formation, so that the second stream exiting the fluid separator directly enters the discharge formation.

Downhole fluid separation system

A method and apparatus are disclosed for producing a gravity separated well in which water and oil are permitted to separate under the influence of gravity. A pumping unit, including an oil pump and a water pump, is positioned in the well. A drive motor may be close coupled with the pumps. The pumping unit may be positioned in the oil region, the water region or in an interface region therebetween. A discharge line extends from the oil pump to a location above the earth's surface, while another discharge line extends from the water pump to a location adjacent to a water injection zone of the well. At least one of the pumps includes a remote intake for drawing fluid from the region in which the unit is not positioned. The technique permits the pumps to be positioned in the well and driven without the need for extended power transmission elements between the pumps.

Apparatus and method for producing a gravity separated well

A method and apparatus (10, 110 or 210) for cleaning the barrel (100) of a gun, is described. The apparatus includes a container (12, 112 or 212) and a cleaning rod (54). The container has end caps (30 and 32) which seal the container and form an inner chamber (12A, 112A or 212A). The top end cap has an opening for insertion of the cleaning rod. The end caps have holders (48) with recesses (48C) which hold the ends of the barrel in the container. The holders preferably have an opening in the bottom wall (48D) of the recess and orifices (52) around the sidewall. To use, the barrel of the gun is mounted in the bottom end cap inside the container and cleaning fluid (102) is poured into the container. The top end cap is sealed onto the container and the cleaning rod is inserted into the container and into the inside of the barrel. As the cleaning rod is moved up and down in the barrel, the cleaning fluid is draining into the orifices and the opening in the bottom end cap and through the barrel and out through the opening and orifices in the top end cap.

Method and apparatus for cleaning the barrel of a gun

An improved spring-loaded latching and locking mechanism for a rotatable control of the type having a stem journaled in a body and rotatable about an axis in a boss on the body. The stem has a protuberance for engagement with the handle. The handle comprises a boss-engaging end portion, a stem-engaging portion, a slider-riding portion, and a grip end portion. The slider-riding portion has a slider with a tang extending therefrom. Each side of the slider-riding portion also includes a pair of springs mounted on a rail cutout so that the springs provide resistance against movement of the slider. The slider-riding portion includes an aperture for securing a lock to arrest movement of the slider. The boss has surfaces located to correspond to predetermined positions of the stem. These surfaces are engageable by the tang which, when so engaged, restrains the handle from rotation and prevents removal of the handle from the stem.
