A connector member includes a coupler portion having a wall including a first end that extends to a second end that defines a connection zone. The wall includes an outer surface. A mounting portion is provided at the first end. The mounting portion includes one or more cantilevered beam elements that extend along the wall spaced from the outer surface. A locking member extends about the coupler portion between the one or more cantilevered beam elements and the outer surface of the wall. The locking member is configured and disposed to limit deflection of the one or more cantilevered beam elements to prevent removal of the connector member from a substrate.

An electric machine includes a housing having an outer surface and an inner surface that defines an interior portion. The housing also includes a connection zone having a first end portion that extends from the outer surface to a second end portion that is exposed to the interior portion. The connection zone includes a connection passage. A terminal block extends through the connection passage. The terminal block includes a non-electrically conductive member that is sealed against the connection passage, and an electrically conductive member covered by the non-electrically conductive member. The electrically conductive member includes a first end section that extends to a second end section through an intermediate section. The first end section has a first connection zone and the second end section has a second connection zone. The second connection zone is at an angle relative to the first connection zone.

An electric motor core member includes a body having an inner diametric portion including an inner arcuate surface and an outer diametric portion including an outer arcuate surface. The electric motor core member further includes a plurality of wall members provided on the main body. Each of the plurality of wall members projects outwardly from the outer arcuate surface and is arranged in a spaced relationship to define a plurality of conductor isolation channels. Each of the plurality of conductor isolation channels is adapted to receive one of a plurality of conductors with the plurality of wall members providing electrical isolation between adjacent ones of the plurality of conductors.

Disclosed herein is an apparatus that relates to a dynamoelectric machine brush holder assembly. The apparatus includes, a plurality of brushes, a plurality of brush holders each having a cavity receptive of one of the plurality of brushes and having two protrusions extending in opposite directions along a surface of the brush holder. A base plate with a surface and a plurality of pairs of tangs radially inwardly open radially outwardly closed and each receptive of one of the protrusions of the brush holders.
