Creating a replica of an anatomical structure. In one embodiments a method includes: accepting pictures of the anatomical structure of a subject; creating an object file that contains an initial model of an outside surface of the anatomical structure; cutting the initial model to a predetermined exterior shape circumscribing the anatomical structure to create a positive model; creating a negative model from the positive model; placing a stem tool object on an outside surface of the negative model in relationship to an orifice, thereby creating a final negative model; placing a zeroing and angling object to align the negative model to a predetermined angle; placing a base tool object by coupling the base tool object to the outside surface; printing, by way of a three-dimensional printer, the final negative model to create a negative mold; and casting the replica of the anatomical structure using the negative mold.

Method and system of creating a replica of an anatomical structure

Collection of biological fluids. At least one example is a polymeric sleeve including: an elongate body that defines a main passageway; an internal chamber defined within the main passageway; a first flange suspended within the internal chamber at a first position along the longitudinal central axis; and an aperture through the first flange, the aperture at least partially aligned with the longitudinal central axis.

Systems and methods related to collection of biological fluids

Creating a replica of an anatomical structure. At least some of the example embodiments are methods including: accepting a plurality of pictures of the anatomical structure of a subject; creating an object file that contains an initial model of an outside surface of the anatomical structure; cutting the initial model to a predetermined exterior shape circumscribing the anatomical structure, the cutting creates a positive model of the anatomical structure within the predetermined exterior shape; creating a negative model of the anatomical structure from the positive model; placing a stem tool object on an outside surface of the negative model in relationship to an orifice of the anatomical structure, and thereby creating a final negative model; printing, by way of a three-dimensional printer, the final negative model to create a negative mold; and casting the replica of the anatomical structure using the negative mold.

At least some of the example embodiments are methods including: placing a lower mold component, the lower mold component structurally defines a negative image of an insertion end of a polymeric sleeve; stacking into mating relationship a first disk member, the first disk member structural defines a negative image of an anterior volume vented to atmosphere on the insertion end of the polymeric sleeve; coupling a rod member to the disk member, an exterior surface of the rod member defines a negative image of a main passageway through the polymeric sleeve; closing an outer mold assembly around the rod member, an interior surface of the outer mold assembly structurally defines a negative image of an outer surface of the polymeric sleeve; and injecting a polymeric compound in a liquid state into the outer mold assembly.

At least some of the example embodiments are polymeric sleeves including: an elongate body that defines a first end, a second end opposite the first end, and a longitudinal central axis; a main passageway through the elongate body along the central axis, the main passageway extends from the first end to the second end, and the main passageway having a first aperture on the first end and a second aperture on the second end; a first member suspended over the first aperture on the first end, the first member having a first initial passageway substantially aligned with the main passageway; and a first plurality of stanchion portions that extend between the first member and the first end.

At least some of the example embodiments are polymeric sleeves including: an elongate body that defines a first end, a second end opposite the first end, and a longitudinal central axis; a main passageway through the elongate body parallel to the central axis, the main passageway extends from the first end to the second end, and the main passageway defines a first aperture on the first end and a second aperture on the second end; a first member suspended over the first aperture on the first end, the first member defines a first initial passageway parallel to the main passageway, and the first member and first end define an interior volume; and a first vent opening defined in part by the first member, the first vent opening distinct from the passageways, and the first vent opening fluidly couples the interior volume to atmosphere pressure.
