A transportable modular building includes a shipping container having shipping container frame members defining an outer periphery of the shipping container; shipping container periphery walls extending between the shipping container frame members, and an entry wall unit. The entry wall unit is recessed from the shipping container frame members that form a first side. The entry wall unit includes a door; a solar panel power interface to interface with a solar panel. The shipping container is suitable for national and international conveyance using conventional transportation networks.

Shipping container based portable temporary/relief housing unit

A modular channel for a door including an elongated channel forming at least a portion of an internal frame for the door. The elongated channel has opposing sides and a base member extending between one edge of each side. The modular channel includes a pair of parallel slotted openings along the base member and a channel adapter including a tabs corresponding with the pair of slotted openings. The tabs include a locking protrusion extending from tab. The tabs slidably engage the slotted openings and the locking protrusions engage the slotted openings when the tabs are urged fully into the slotted opening. The slotted openings may be positioned parallel with the elongated channel length and the elongated channel may include at least one transverse slot perpendicular to the slotted openings. The channel adapter may include a curved locking tongue disposed perpendicular to the tabs and engagable with the transverse slot.

An improved inspection apparatus includes a control apparatus, a tractor apparatus comprising a tractor and a drive mechanism connected together, the drive mechanism being connected with the control apparatus, a tether apparatus disposed on the tractor and being movable between a deployed position and a retracted position, and a buoy apparatus. The buoy apparatus is connected with the tether apparatus and includes a buoy and a camera apparatus, the buoy in a condition submerged in a fluid applying a buoyant force to the camera apparatus whereby in the deployed position of the tether apparatus the buoy apparatus is in an elevated position situated relatively higher in a vertical direction than in the retracted position of the tether apparatus wherein the buoy apparatus is in another position situated relatively lower in the vertical direction, the camera apparatus being structured to provide a visual output signal to the control apparatus.
