A docking station for a portable media player. The docking station includes a docking connector to physically secure the portable media player and a communication interface to communicatively couple the portable media player to the docking station when the docking connector is physically securing the portable media player. A projection module operably linked to the communication interface and configured to receive video information from the portable media player via the communication interface projects a video image derived from the video information away from the docking station onto a viewing surface.

An image display system including a plurality of display devices, each with a serial bus port, the plurality of display devices to be provided with image data; a serial bus link coupled with each of the plurality of display devices; and a content source coupled with the serial bus link, the content source to send the image data over the serial bus link to at least one of the plurality of display devices. A bulk end-point is established, through which image data is transferred, and a control end-point is established, through which control data is transferred.

USB image transmission system and device

A USB image transmission system is provided. The USB image transmission system may include a content source configured to be operatively coupled to a USB-enabled display device. Image data may be transmitted over the USB connection from the content source for display by the display device. In some embodiments, a USB collaboration hub may enable multiple content sources to be operatively linked through a USB connection to one or more USB-enabled display devices.
