A system, a control apparatus and a control method for distributed video display are provided. The system includes an image source device configured to provide image data, a plurality of displays, a plurality of display chips respectively coupled to the displays and connected with the video source device through a network, and a control apparatus connected with the image source device and the display chips through the network and configured to transmit a playback signal to each of the display chips to control the display chips to receive the image data from the image source device and convert the received image data into display frames capable of being played by the displays. The control apparatus further transmits a synchronizing signal to each display chip to control the display chips to synchronize the clocks with each other according to the synchronizing signal and sets each of the display chips with a fixed delay time after receiving the image data to synchronously play the display frames on the displays.

System, control apparatus and control method for distributed video display

A display method and a display system for a video wall are proposed. The method is applicable to a display system having a server and multiple player devices. Each of the player devices is connected to the server and a video wall having multiple displays, and each of the player devices corresponds to a different one of the displays and a different one of regions in a video stream. The method includes to receive the video stream from the server by each of the player devices, to send a broadcast command by a master player device among the player devices to other player devices, and to start displaying the corresponding region in a first frame of the video stream on the corresponding display of the video wall by each of the player devices after a preset delay time interval according to the broadcast command.

Display method and display system for video wall

The present invention provides a video conference system. The video conference system includes a plurality of terminal equipment and a server. Each of the terminal equipment estimates and transmits real-time bandwidth and conference requirements to the server. A multipoint control unit of the server includes a multipoint controller and a multipoint processor. The multipoint controller determines, according to the real-time bandwidth and the conference requirements, a transfer rule and an allocation scheme corresponding to each of the terminal equipment. The multipoint processor receives the transfer rule and voice data stream or video data stream from the terminal equipment. The server transmits each of the allocation schemes to the corresponding terminal equipment. When any of the terminal equipment transmits new real-time bandwidth or new conference requirements to the server, the multipoint controller determines the transfer rule and the allocation schemes once again.

A display system and a display method for video walls are provided. The display system includes at least one server and a plurality of player devices. Each server renders an image and transmits the image to a network. The player devices are coupled to the at least one server through the network. Each player device receives the image or a part of the image rendered by one of the at least one server, and determines a synchronization time together with at least one of the other player devices. Each player device uses a display of a video wall to simultaneously display the image or the part of the image at the synchronization time.

An adaptive booster cable is connected with two pairs of clips, wherein the two pairs of clips are respectively attached to two batteries to transmit power from one battery to the other battery. The adaptive booster cable includes a polarity detecting unit connected to each clip, a switching unit and a current detecting unit both provided between the two pairs of clips. After the polarity of each clip is sensed by the polarity detecting unit, the switching unit generates a proper connection between the two batteries. Therefore, the positive and negative terminals of the two batteries are correctly connected based on the detected result of the polarity detecting unit.

Automobile steering lock

A portable step for supporting a person while working in the engine compartment of a vehicle, such as a truck. The portable step comprises a generally planar member and two legs on the generally planar member having a wheel attachment assembly at their upper ends for hooking onto either the front wheel or rear wheel of the vehicle thereby to suspend the planar member in a position wherein it is generally horizontal and at an elevation above the ground where a person standing on the planar member has convenient access to the engine compartment of the vehicle. Also disclosed is such a portable step wherein the wheel attachment assembly and the planar member are collapsible to minimize the size of the portable step for storage.
