A lighting system for illuminating stairs and a method for installing the same. The wiring for the lighting system may be hidden from view, providing a more aesthetically pleasing appearance. Furthermore, the lighting system may be installed simultaneously with the deck itself, or afterwards. Embodiments of the present invention include stair riser lights which extend only minimally from the front surface of the stair riser. Embodiments of the present invention may focus the light towards the horizontal surface in front of the stair riser. Embodiments of the present invention may also protect the lighting system from environmental damage. Embodiments of the installation method include utilizing a jig so that the light assembly may be quickly and accurately installed.

Stair riser light and method for installing same

An improved bracketing system comprising a first portion that is adjustably connected to a second portion. The first portion may pivot, rotate, or otherwise be adjusted relative to the second portion to accommodate perpendicular and angled installations. An exemplary embodiment of the bracketing system may include angled holes to receive fasteners, which may promote ease of installation. An exemplary embodiment of the bracketing system may also provide additional strength when installed.

Baluster light system

A lighting assembly designed to fit within a rail post. The lamp post assembly focuses light toward the ground to prevent sending light into the night sky or into the eyes of users. The lamp assembly fits within a post to provide an aesthetically pleasing appearance. The lamp assembly can be installed in existing post configurations or installed with a new post. The lamp assembly also hides the wiring necessary for the lamp from view, thus providing a more aesthetically pleasing appearance.

Outdoor deck lighting system

A lighting system and method for illuminating a deck area. The wiring for the lighting system is hidden from view, providing a more aesthetically pleasing appearance. Furthermore, the lighting system can be installed simultaneously with the deck itself, or afterwards. The system has several embodiments of illumination including post lights, baluster lights, and stair lights. Embodiments of the lighting system may be optionally be installed by the end user and do not require professional design and installation, thus providing a more cost effective solution.

Deck lighting system

A coupling for connection of a tube comprises a coupling housing which includes a first end into which the tube is inserted, a clamping ring which is positioned in the coupling housing against a first conical surface, a sealing ring which is positioned in the coupling housing, and a return ring which is positioned in the coupling housing between the clamping ring and a second end of the housing adjacent a second conical surface that is tapered opposite to the first conical surface. The return ring is expandable and comprises a central aperture which is smaller than the external diameter of the tube. Accordingly, when the tube is pushed into the coupling housing and forced through the return ring, the return ring will expand and move along the second conical surface.
