A well survey system comprising and electronic survey tool for determining the inclination of a wellbore is disclosed herein with methods of use. In some embodiments, the electronic survey tool includes an electrolytic tilt sensor adapted to measure a first tilt angle within a first plane and a second tilt angle within a second plane of the electrolytic tilt sensor. The electronic survey tool also includes a system processor for determining the inclination of the wellbore based on the first and second tilt angles. As such, a drop-in replacement and improvement on a mechanical critical vertical drift (CVD) tool is provided herein. The electronic survey tool of the present invention also improves upon and overcomes the disadvantages of prior art electronic survey tools. Due to the stability of the improved survey tool over time and with changes in ambient temperature, for example, the improved survey tool does not require periodic recalibration or correction of measurements for errors and biases.

System and method for determining the inclination of a wellbore

The present invention offers a touch pad cover for the touch pad of a Laptop/Notebook computer whereby the touch pad is protected from environmental conditions such as static electricity, particularly the static charge of a computer monitor when the computer is in a closed position and from the static charge transferred by the user, thus reducing the likelihood of a malfunctioning computer touch pad. These, as well as other objects of the invention, are accomplished by a cover for a touch pad of a Laptop/Notebook computer, the computer having a touch pad and an upper portion; the cover comprising an upper surface of nonconductive material (e.g. neoprene) in contact with the upper portion of the computer when the computer is in a closed position; a lower surface of nonconductive material opposite and parallel the upper surface, the lower surface in contact with the touch pad of the computer and depositing a powder residue of nonconductive material on the touch pad. The touch pad cover further comprises a storage compartment for storage of the touch pad cover when the computer is not in use.

Computer touch pad cover and method

A ferromagnetic cable insertion tube is cantilevered from a polymeric conduit extruder and separates an electrical and/or optical cable being pulled through the conduit from the inner surface of the conduit until it has solidified. A d.c. current source is applied to a coil surrounding the cable insertion tube upstream or downstream of the extruder so as to induce a magnetic flux in the tube and create a north pole at the downstream free end of the tube and a south pole at the upstream free end of the tube. An array of magnets is assembled about the insertion tube at the downstream free end or north pole thereof. The magnets are arranged with their north poles confronting the north pole of the insertion tube so that the repulsive forces between the like poles magnetically levitate the free end of the insertion tube and keep it from sagging into contact with the extruded conduit.

Magnetic support system for cable insertion tube

An exercise device including a pedal crank and a hand crank separately drivingly connected to a flywheel provided with a braking mechanism remotely controllable to vary the amount of braking, in response to operation of switches located on the hand crank in a location making removal of the hand from the hand crank unnecessary to operation of the switches. The switches also control selection of various displays of information concerning the exercise being performed.
