Apparatus and systems are disclosed that incorporate a steerable catheter control handle for bi-directional control of a steerable catheter. The steerable catheter control handle includes a slide assembly positioned within the inner housing and operable to translate linearly therein. The control handle further includes a proximal portion of at least two control wires being positioned through the slide assembly wherein one of the at least two control wires is indirectly coupled to the slide assembly via a direction reversing element. The steerable catheter control handle has a control knob rotatably coupled to the housing for linearly translating the slide assembly, thereby enabling the slide assembly to manipulate each of the at least two control wires, effecting a change in deflection of said catheter. The slide assembly further comprises a slide limiting mechanism to restrict linear translation of the slide assembly.

Steerable medical device handle

A steerable catheter control handle and method are provided for bi-directional control of a steerable catheter, the catheter including at least two control wires, a distal end of each of the control wires being coupled to the catheter at a distal region thereof. The control system comprises a housing. A wire actuation mechanism is disposed within the housing and is operably coupled to at least two control wires for enabling actuation of the at least two control wires. The steerable catheter control handle additionally comprises a proximal control knob that is operably coupled to the wire actuation mechanism to enable actuation of the at least two control wires for causing a distal end deflection of the steerable catheter.

Embodiments of a steerable catheter control system and methods are disclosed. The steerable catheter control system comprises a housing which defines an inner housing and a slide assembly which linearly translates within the inner housing. At least two control wires are positioned through the slide assembly wherein one of the at least two controls wires are indirectly coupled to the slide assembly via the direction reversing element. The steerable catheter control system further comprises a slack limiting element, coupled to at least one of the at least two control wires. The slack limiting element allows for frictional engagement of the control wire to limit slack. The control system includes a control knob for linearly translating the slide assembly, enabling the slide assembly to manipulate the control wires which causes a change in deflection of the steerable catheter.

An injecting device includes a housing having a longitudinal axis extending. A dose setting member is rotatable in the housing in a first or second direction about the longitudinal axis. A plunger extends through a bore of the dose setting member and into a bore of a barrel engaged with the housing. Pushing on an arm extending through a slot in the housing rotates the dose setting member in the first direction. As it rotates, indicia on the dose setting member are progressively displayed through an aperture in the housing. An actuator is engaged to release the dose setting member to rotate in the second direction and this rotation causes the plunger to move axially within the barrel's bore and push the pre-set dose of fluid therefrom. The dose setting member remains in a constant axial position within the housing during rotation in each of the first and second directions.

Method and apparatus for injecting fluids

A cross-over stroller kit is provided. The kit has a main frame assembly to receive at least one child seat assembly. The main frame assembly has a rear wheelbase and an upper attachment feature adapted to receive a lower attachment feature provided on first and second front-end frame assemblies. The first front-end frame assembly has two front wheels and the lower attachment feature adapted to mate with the upper attachment feature to define a city-mode stroller having four wheels. The second front-end frame assembly has a single front wheel and a second lower attachment feature adapted to mate with the upper attachment feature to define a sport-mode stroller having three wheels.

A pet treat toy in the shape of a dumbbell including a spherical or cylindrical body portion flanked by disc-shaped first and second enlarged members. The enlarged members are of a greater diameter than the body portion; consequently, the enlarged members keep the body portion a distance off the ground. Each enlarged member includes a concave surface with an outermost edge that contacts the ground if the toy is upended. An opening defined in one of the body portion and concave surface is in communication with the body portion's interior cavity. Treats loaded into the cavity through the opening are kept from contacting the ground because the opening is maintained a distance off the ground by the larger diameter enlarged members or because the opening is recessed relative to the outermost edge of the enlarged member's concave surface that defines the opening.

A control system and method are provided for control of a steerable catheter, the catheter including at least two control wires, a distal end of each of the control wires being coupled to the catheter at a distal region thereof, the control system comprising: a housing coupled to the catheter; a slide assembly positioned within the housing and operable to translate linearly therein; a proximal portion of each of the at least two control wires being positioned through the slide assembly; and a control knob rotatably coupled to the housing for linearly translating the slide assembly, thereby enabling the slide assembly to separately manipulate each of said at least two control wires to effect a change in a deflection of said catheter.

A steerable catheter control handle and method are provided for bi-directional control of a steerable catheter, the catheter including at least two control wires, a distal end of each of the control wires being coupled to the catheter at a distal region thereof. The control system comprises a housing. A wire actuation mechanism is disposed within the housing and is operably coupled to at least two control wires for enabling actuation of the at least two control wires. The steerable catheter control handle additionally comprises a proximal control knob that is operably coupled to the wire actuation mechanism to enable actuation of the at least two control wires. The control knob is positioned proximal to the wire actuation mechanism to enhance ease of use of the steerable catheter control handle. The rotation of the proximal knob causes movement of the wire actuation mechanism within the housing for tensioning one of the at least two control wires for causing a distal end deflection of the steerable catheter.

A night light includes a housing, a dimmable light source operatively connected to a rotatable light source controller rotatable about an axis and at least one first sensor mounted within the housing operative to sense rotation of the rotatable light source. The at least one first sensor outputs a signal representative of the rotation. Further, the rotatable light source can be rotated by a hand of a user. Still further, the light night can be controlled via wireless communication.

A protective headgear for equestrian use provides a traditional style cowboy hat with protective features to allow it to comply with prevailing equestrian helmet standards. The hat includes interior protective padding in the top of the dome, exterior protective padding below the crown of the dome, and exterior protective padding on the rear of the hat below the brim. The protective padding may be secured to the hat by adhesive, stitching, or mechanical fasteners. A chin strap securement system comprising mutually connectable strap-and-buckle assemblies is optionally provided.

A universal serial bus (USB)-powered utility tool includes a housing defining an interior space, at least one dimmable light source positioned on one side of the housing and a USB connector extending outwardly from the housing. The USB connector may be positioned on another side of the housing. The USB connector may be positioned orthogonal to the at least one dimmable light source. The USB-powered utility tool may further include a printed circuit board (PCB) positioned orthogonal to the USB connector. The USB-powered utility tool may further include a processor logic configured to control a current being supplied to the at least one dimmable light source. The at least one dimmable light source may be controlled manually or via wireless communication.
