A pet hair removal apparatus has a plurality of engagement members. The apparatus operates in a plurality of different operational engagement position in which different engagement members contact the surface to remove pet hair from the surface depending on which operational engagement position the apparatus is positioned. In one operational engagement position, two or more engagement members, that are different types of engagement members, simultaneously contact the surface. In another operational engagement position, only one type of engagement member contacts the surface to remove pet hair from the surface.

A shield assembly for a syringe includes a cradle, a carriage, and a shield. The cradle is configured to be operatively engaged around a portion of a circumference of a syringe barrel. The shield is configured to extend longitudinally outwardly from the cradle to cover a needle of the syringe. The carriage secures the shield to the cradle and is configured to be movably engaged with the cradle. The shield is detachably engaged with the carriage and is configured to be aesthetically pleasing to a young child. The shield assembly is engaged with the syringe prior to use so as to reduce stress in the young child while they are either being injected with a substance or having their blood drawn. After the procedure, the shield may be detached from the shield assembly and may be given to the young patient.

A pet hair removal apparatus has a plurality of engagement members. The apparatus has a handle and connected base member. On the base member is one or more engagement members, such as lugs, protrusions or frustums. On the lower surface of one of the engagement members is one or more striations, ribs, squeegees or ridges. The striations, ribs, squeegees or ridges operate in an operational engagement position to remove pet hair from the surface of an inanimate object, such as a couch or other fabric. This operational engagement position for the striations, ribs, squeegees or ridges is one of a number of other operational engagement positions for the pet hair removal apparatus.

An injection device includes a housing having a longitudinal axis extending. A dose setting member is rotatable in the housing in a first or second direction about the longitudinal axis. A plunger extends through a bore of the dose setting member and into a bore of a barrel engaged with the housing. Pushing on an arm extending through a slot in the housing rotates the dose setting member in the first direction. As it rotates, indicia on the dose setting member are progressively displayed through an aperture in the housing. An actuator is engaged to release the dose setting member to rotate in the second direction and this rotation causes the plunger to move axially within the barrel's bore and push the pre-set dose of fluid therefrom. The dose setting member remains in a constant axial position within the housing during rotation in each of the first and second directions.

A pet hair removal apparatus has a plurality of engagement members. The apparatus has a handle and connected base member. At the end of the handle is a pointed end defined by a pointed tip. The pointed end and pointed tip operates in an operational engagement position to remove pet hair from the surface of an inanimate object, such as a couch or other fabric. The pointed end removes hair or other debris that are in or near a crease or crevice of the fabric. This operational engagement position is one of a number of other operational engagement positions for the pet hair removal apparatus.
