An endarterectomy device configured to remove plaque from an occluded artery is disclosed. The endarterectomy device uses an adjustable wire loop end effector to establish and advance a dissection plane in the subadventitial space of the artery. The endarterectomy device is passed down the length of an artery in the subadventitial plane, adjusting the size of the wire loop end effector as needed to navigate the artery and dissect a plaque column, until the end of the plaque is reached. The wire loop end effector is then used as a plaque cutter to transect the distal end of the plaque column. The endarterectomy device is further configured along its length with support arms that facilitate removal of the plaque column as the device is removed from the artery.

An anatomical sensing system-guided prostate procedure device that includes a housing having a proximal end and a distal end. The housing may be divided into a distal housing section, a mid housing section, and a proximal housing section, wherein the distal housing section is configured for insertion into the anus and retention in the rectum of a subject. An implantation tool for implanting a medical device subcutaneously includes a core extending along a longitudinal axis. The core is formed with a longitudinal recess extending along the longitudinal axis. A shell protrudes from an end of the core in the direction of the longitudinal axis. The shell defines a compartment for carrying the medical implant. The compartment is connected to the longitudinal recess. A rod that extends along the longitudinal axis is arranged in the longitudinal recess.

Example embodiments described herein can include a display portion including a display; and a keyboard portion including a plurality of keys. One of the plurality of keys is a multi-function key configured to register a character on the display, and the multi-function key is configured to control movement of a cursor in multiple directions on the display. In yet other embodiments, the multi-function key is a space bar having a surface area substantially larger than other keys of the plurality of keys. The multi-function key can be rectangular shaped and sufficiently large to receive simultaneous contacts associated with each thumb of a user when the user types on the keyboard portion.

A light therapy appliance comprises an electronic circuit including Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) configured to emit light at one or more different wavelengths. A hand held enclosure containing the electronic circuit includes a front lens that directs the multiple different colored lights to a top surface of skin. The light therapy appliance can be programmed for different skin conditions and may be used in conjunction with different topical ointments.
