A bottom wheel assembly ( ), an intermediate lockdown mechanism ( ), a front lockdown mechanism ( ), and a container foot ( ) to transport the containers ( ) with the wheel assemblies ( ) and container foot ( ) attached to the containers ( ). The invention utilizes a universal mounting bracket ( ) which can be used to mount a selected one of the wheel assembly ( ), the container foot ( ), and lockdown extensions ( ) which form part of the lockdown mechanisms ( ). The wheel assembly ( ) includes three wheels ( ) rotatably mounted on the mounting bracket ( ) by a wheel axle ( ) from which the lockdown extensions ( ) extend. The front and intermediate lockdown mechanisms ( ) each include a securement portion ( ) and a trailer attachment portion ( ). The container foot ( ) includes a pivotally mounted platform ( ), and the container foot ( ) is held in a container foot receiving slot ( ) during transport.
