Fragranced films containing a water soluble a/o water dispersible polyvinyl alcohol polymer are disclosed. Uses of the fragranced films in providing a fragrance benefit and/or in controlling malodours is also disclosed, including when used in conjunction with lavatory appliances, dishwashing machines and in laundry washing machines.

Compositions for grafting fragrance substances

Composition comprising bornyl or isobornyl acetate and certain acids are effective for reducing malodors. The acids have the formula R&#x2014;COOH in which R is Calkyl or R is Cor Calkylene optionally phenyl-substituted. These compositions can be used in perfumed products, household products and personal care products.

Malodor neutralizing compositions comprising bornyl acetate or isobornyl acetate

This disclosure relates to a malodor neutralizing composition containing (1) a cyclohexanone substituted with C-Cbranched or unbranched alkyl or an unsaturated alicyclic ketone of formula (I) and (2) an acid selected from the group consisting of citric acid, undecylenic acid, and an acid of the formula (VIII). Formulas (I) and (VIII) are defined in the specification.

Malodor neutralizing compositions containing acids and alicyclic ketones

Compositions comprising undecylenic acid or citric acid and certain esters are effective for reducing malodors. The esters are in the molecular weight range of between 150-200 when the acid is undecylenic acid and in the range of between 130-230 when the acid is citric acid. These compositions can be used in perfumed products, household products and personal care products.

A dry fragrance composition having from about 0.1 to about 20%, by total carrier weight, of a fragrance composition substantially uniformly deposited on the surface of a nonabsorbent solid inorganic particulate substrate is used to impart a fragrance to a second material. The nonabsorbent solid inorganic particulate substrate can be an alkali metal chloride, sulfates, or tripolyphosphates, soda ash, borax, or a zeolite.
